I never recieved the item, I did same day shipping on Christmas eve. big mistake! item never came. called and talked with onerail several times, said it would be delivered Saturday, never came. Purchases this radio to replace my shop radio that developed an intermittent antenna connection. Wanted something that was compatible with my existing Dewalt batteries, charging capabilities, portable, and AC. Other models considers were either AC or battery because the AC plug was located in the same location as the battery compartment. Alignment of the battery during insertion should be improved. Price matched 179, and at that price it is a little better value. Bluetooth devices are not as loud as radio. It will do, but wouldn't buy another.

First one, the antenna didnt work, had to return it. Second one the screen died after 2 months of moderate use. Third one the volume will not go up, this one lasted a year. I bought the protection plan, which now they no longer handle in store, instead you need to call their special department, they route you to a website that doesn’t work, so then you get to stay on hold for over 30 minutes in the parking lot of the store. Fraudulent purchase. Someone stole my credit card info and did an in store pickup for this machine. Had to order new cards and had $2,000 stolen in purchases from Lowe’s. The pickup person did not match the name of the card.

It's rugged and compact. It will charge your Dewalt batteries and run off them, as well. It's Bluetooth to play through your phone and it's a regular radio, too! It's nice to look at and you know quickly what brand it is....Dewalt means quality!

Awesome radio

This product is awesome, charger and radio. If you keep a battery charged and unplug it, it stays on dosen't miss a beat. Also got it for $142+ tax, can't beat it for that price.

Good but could be better

Needs a remote. Bluetooth only seems to be found by mobile devices. Tried to get 2 tvs, roku and Google, to play sound through the radio and neither could find radios Bluetooth signal. Other than that it is an exceptional product for its intended use and class.
