Replacement/Upgrade

Just replaced my corded Dewalt drill and upgraded. I am impressed with the amount of power It's a nice addition as it adds to the 20-v Sawzall. The batteries are interchangeable, I now have 3 and a charge for upstairs garage & basement.

How did I ever do things without these?

These drill and driver set is amazing. The battery lasted the entire time and was power packed and lightweight. Just make sure when you put the battery on the charger, it clicks. Great tool for a great price.

IT WAS DEFECTIVE

I PURCHASED IT AND I WAS SO EXCITED JUST TO FIND OUT THAT THE BATTERY DIDNT WORK AND I COULD GET ANOTHER ONE, I WASTED MY TIME TO PICK IT UP AND DROP IT OFF, I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED, ALSO THEY DIDNT WANT TO GIVE ME A DISCOUNT OR SIMILAR ITEM!!!! LOWES IS THE WORST!!!!

Battery charger quit working

The only complaint I have so far after 3 months is the battery charger quit working. Thankfully I got one battery charged before it quit. I haven't used the drill much. I don't know what I will do when my charged battery is used up. I called DeWalt and all I get is we are closed.

Perfect combination

I have dropped the impact drill from an 8 foot ladder and after looking at the drill, I knew I made the right purchase - not even a scratch. Solid performer and glad i got the kit with two batteries, as I can be recharging one while I keep working.

Long battery life great power

Great, except

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these tools. My two (minor) complaints are : 1) the impact driver gets quite hot with use, indicating that it probably needs better cooling. This may shorten the life, but it's been working hard for me for a couple years now. 2) the 3 LEDs on the impact driver are great but the single LED on the drill is mounted such that the chuck cats a shadow at the point of business. Better than no LED but could be better.

Good old fashion Dewalt quality and performance

Unbelievable price from Lowes.com. Owned two Dewalt drills up until ordering this set. They are 8 yrs old and ten yrs ild and daily workers for the entire time. This new set is great. Never had an impact driver before and I am blown away by the power. Great set and great price. Can’t go wrong with this set!
