Would RecommendI have a regular size recip saw. But it is heavy and at times too long for some projects. I bought this Xtreme 12volt recip saw based on reviews. I used it few days ago while repairing a shed and it worked great. Its versatile, light, and it has the power I was looking for in a smaller recip.

Would Not RecommendSomething's inherently wrong w this tool! I have the SAME problem as others have described...as soon as you apply pressure to whatever you're cutting, the tool stops working! WHAT!? Piece of junk. What was I "attempting" to cut? Cardboard! Cardboard from Christmas packaging. Lol. Be careful DeWalt...you knew the item was defective after it was designed but let it be distributed/sold anyways. Shameful.

Would RecommendThis bad boy gets the job donem compact fits in my tool bag abd those hard spots with little room. I only wish it was able to fit the 20v battery but hey the charge for it fits the the 12v. This pacts a punch for even 12v. Awesome product.
