Great Foam

This is the best spray foam I've ever used. No fuss, no must. The problem is I can't seem to get it anywhere. I'm in the Halifax, NS. Canada area. Any suggestions?

Definitely not usable in MN

I used this product to seal around my door frame. Now that it has cured I was wondering what all the white sand like particles were on my carpet. I found out when this is touched it turns to a fine sand like particle. Seems very easy for any type of critter to get through and won't do the job very long. I've only had it in place for about 3 months but I wonder how long it will actually last. Great that it doesn't keep expanding and easy to clean up but it doesn't seem to be doing the job.

Foam caulking works great.

Easy to work with. Doesn't over expand. Easy clean up. For deeper cracks a couple of layers worked very well and controllable.

I like this stuff

What I REALLY like about this product is that you can clean it up with water and soap. The polyurethane stuff is so caustic that you practically have to wear a space suit to use it, and if you get it on you, it's on until your skin wears away. You also have to be more careful around carpets, furniture, etc. because it's near-impossible to remove--you need acetone to do a good job. You still need to keep DAPtex off you, but it's much milder.

Trigger broken

Trigger never worked. Broken from start. Another hazardous waste drop off.

Just what I needed

Works as advertised but be aware, this is a horse of a different color. This is not the rushing, expanding type of product like all the others. It is very controllable. Just what I was looking for. Be advised that drying time is longer than the other sorts, but for certain projects you can't beat it. Clean up is a dream compared to regular expanding types. Read the instructions before you begin and you will not be disappointed.

Minimum Expanding Foam Sealant

We use it around Door and Window Frames. DAP Insulating Foam Sealant Does NOT over EXSPAND busting out walls. It Exspands Snug, which is just right, providing the barrier application we need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to help seal up some leaking areas out around the She Shed and then later an all purpose metal building. Super easy to use. Wiped up easily. Can sand down if needed after. Will apply caulk on top later. Will def use again.

DAPtex Plus Multi-Purpose Foam Sealant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DAPtex Plus Multi-Purpose Foam Sealant didn't perform as expected. The foam comes out fast and messy. It was hard to keep it from getting on areas where I didn't need it so I think a lot is wasted. Maybe it would work for small areas for a quick seal.

I applied the product around the bottom of my tub. Once applied, it was very neat and sealed. Twenty four hours later, i checked and the product had dried and settled. Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dap foam sealent works great. It is perfect for sealing up cracks or gaps in windows or doors at this time of year. Can use on wood and even fiberglass. Get used to how generously the product expands. A little goes a long way

A good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the product to insulate a window and it cured nicely. It was simple to use and easier than the foam strips. I also like the fact that it stays in the can for multiple uses. I have a lot of windows to insulate and I can continuously use it.

DAPtex Plus-Amazing!

Sealed the windows well

I was able to seal the windows with ease because it dispensed easily and I was able to get a smooth line, needing minimal cleaning. The cleaning I did need to do came off with water nicely. I am very pleased with the end result and found this easier to use than other thick sealants. It performed very well and actually exceeded my expectations.
