Great for small batches

Trays are difficult to line up at times. Other than that it is a solid unit, quiet, small footprint, maintains constant temp accurately

No, Vent Control

This product is ok, I had better ones in the past, the last one that lasted 8 years, I replaced it with this one. One of the things I dislike about this new model that is dosent have a muffle, the vent is wide open, no way to reduce the hot air coming out. Also it seems that fresh veggies takes way to long for them to dry. I have small cherry tomatoes cut in 1/2= 28hrs, Sweet peppers cut in wheels= 20hrs, scallions=26 hrs. It just don't make any scene of the paperwork that is in with the timing ...

Food Dehydrator

Have used the dehydrator to make fruit leather. It’s so easy to make healthy fruit snacks for anyone to enjoy. I followed the recipe in the instruction booklet— super easy to make the fruit leather. We prefer to use just fruit and lemon, which we blend and lay onto the tray. Unfortunately it only came with one tray, but buying more is available online— we highly recommend as we can eat a whole batch of fruit leather in minutes. Can’t wait to dehydrate more items.

Nice!

Love it! Does exactly what it is supposed to do. My grandson and I dried pineapple, orange/lemon/lime peels, and ginger for Christmas.

Great little Machine

Really like this machine. I recently made jerky and the fans worked very well in drying it. I like the quality and am hoping it lasts a long time,

Easy, quiet and delicious!`

This is so easy to use, I've already made several things (beef jerky, dried fruit & slim Jims). I love it, it cleans easy & isn't too loud. I can't wait to dry tomatoes from my garden. -And herbs, and flowers!

Excellent and simple to use

Would Recommend

Most of our small appliances are Cusinart and we aren't disappointed with this one. I use it for making liver treats for my dogs. It is a significant savings over buying dog biscuits. I also intend to use it for making beef jerky if I can ever manage to keep up with the dog treats. It is simple, works very well and easy to clean. If food sticks and leaves some bits on the trays, just fill the sink with hot soapy water and soak for a couple of hours to clean.
