Unsafe & Unreliable Temp Settings: Hot/Hotter/Char

Purchased this back in November 2023 to replace an older 6qt Crockpot that served us well for many years. After several uses, I can honestly say that I do not trust the safety of it nor trust it wouldn't ruin my food without constant supervision, which ruins one of the main purposes of a slow cooker. Terrible sous vide feature

Received this as a gift, was very excited to try the sous vide feature. What a letdown! Attempted to make the maple glazed carrots, preheated for over 1 1/2 hours, (even added more boiling water) and still could never get the water above 152°. Useless. As a regular crock pot works about as well as most of them, just don't get excited about the sous vide.

I have cooked a number of dishes in it and used it for a potluck. The lock on lid is great for when you need to move your dish from one location to another. Awesome Slow Cooker

I haven't ran into any issues with food getting cooked to the inside walls or anything like that. Overall I have no complaints.

Slow Cooker with Sous Vide Option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with this crockpot. I was extremely intrigued by the Sous Vide Option so I had to try it. I was at first a bit nervous and intimated to try but the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I made steak with the sous vide option. It was delicious. I have also made pulled pork with the regular slow cooker option and it came out perfect as well.

Easier than I thought

We used it to cook some Omaha steaks with the reverse sear method, and they turned out steakhouse quality! now that I’m warmed up, I’m gonna try beef short ribs next. I haven’t tried the crockpot function, but I’m sure there are no surprises there. I’ve always trusted this brand!

It did take about half an hour to heat up, which seems like a long time but I can just use that as prep time next time I use it. All in all, this is a perfect 2-in-1 appliance and I will be using it a lot in the future!
