What Customers Are Saying
The product appears to have mixed performance, working effectively for small yards but frequently clogging in clay or compacted soil. Many users reported the tool becoming unusable due to soil getting stuck in the tubes, even with the use of lubricants. The size of the yard seems to be a factor, with the aerator struggling to cover larger areas due to the clogging issues. Some customers also noted a lack of instructions on proper spacing when using the tool.

Works well for the price
Would RecommendUsing this product is an excellent workout. Especially since you have to jump on it with all your weight to get it to function properly. The dirt doesn’t always get ejected, even with my full body weight, but I’ve found it works a lot better if the soil is drier. Had to give it 4 stars due to the grip on top. It feels soft at first, but do not use this without gloves. After doing a 500 sq ft area I had bad blisters on my hands.

Manual hand aerator
Would RecommendQuick aeration for small spots in the yard. Ejects the core pretty good of ground is wet.

Solid Manual Aerator That Gets the Job Done
Would RecommendAs a manual coring aerator, it does exactly what you want-pulls solid plugs instead of just poking holes, which really helps with soil compaction and getting air, water, and seed down into the root zone. The construction feels sturdy, and the composite components hold up well without adding unnecessary weight. It takes some effort, especially if your ground is dry or compacted, but that’s expected with any manual aerator. I’ve found it works best after a good watering or rain.
