It’s difficult to remove the seed pods from cage

I purchased this nut gatherer to pick up gumballs from my neighbors sweet gum tree, that end up in our yard. The spike seed pods stick in the grass and are hard to pick up. The nut gatherer does pick them up.

Pick up roller for nuts and pine cones

I bought it to pick up unopened pine ones it works well it’s smaller than the one I have for walnuts, the smaller basket works better on pine ones keeping them in the basket better

Much needed

I am excited to use this next fall. It worked on just the acorn caps so I am sure full acorns will be easily removed from the yard. It also picked up some small stones that were in the yard of our new home.

Do not use this for gumballs!!

Great at picking up the gumballs in my yard - but not so easy to empty it. It was very difficult and time consuming to use this for that purpose. I recommend you use another similar product that opens up easy to get them out. Also, you cannot pick up a lot of them at one time (maybe halfway full) in order to get them to come out.

low capacity

It works but has low capacity and it is difficult to upload. it's not for a lot of nuts/gumball. I am returning my purchase.

This works perfectly. Well made as well. Actually used it to pick up foam balls from kids blaster also.

Too Good to Be True, Went Good to Not Working...

This product works very well for a short period of time (2 or 3 days). Then it stops picking up nuts and ends up flattening itself out and malfunctioning. This is the second time I purchased this item and the same exact outcome occured. I thought since it worked so well out the gate and helped out my back from bending and squatting down, that maybe I could just not roll it over as many as before and it would hopefully last longer. Takes some work

The basket is about the size of a 1/2 milk gallon (see attached photo), which doesn't seem like much but that gets pretty heavy. It takes some work to gather the nuts especially when they're mixed in with the grass. You have to run it back and forth several times in an area to pick up the nuts. But, it does the job.

Doesn’t work

This device Does not work. I Have large areas with literally thousands of acorns, 31 oak trees over 40 years old. The most that this device will keep in is about a dozen and my yard virtually has no grass to interfere with its operation. Everything else falls out or it won’t pick up any new nuts beyond the small handful. I’d look for some other method.

Pecan Picker Upper

It was weighted well to help with picking up the pecans. It did a great job! I also got it next day!!!

HORRIBLE - Don't buy!

Looks good. Heavy. Feels like it will work great. It did not. Acorns kept coming out just as fast as it picked them up. Absolute waiste of time. I'm taking it back to get my money back. Don't buy this product!
