Best 1st timer tent

Love this tent! It been loved for two years now and it hasn’t worn down. We’ve been in all types of weather - snow, rainstorms, desert, and beach! Great 1st time tent.

Amazing experience with this camping tent! The material quality is excellent, sturdy against wind and rain, and very easy to set up even by just one person. I’ve had this tent for years, love going camping with it as it fits my family comfortably. It’s easy to set up and small enough to throw in the back of the truck without taking up a lot of space , storage wise also. Big enough for a full and queen size air mattress and still a little bit of space for bags and personal items

Bombproof reliable.

This is a pretty durable tent. It's not the fanciest or most lightweight tent, but it's solid. The water proof tarp floor is very durable, and it's pretty spacious for a three man tent. I don't take it backpacking, but it's perfect for car camping. I also like that the bag it comes in expands, it's not hard to fit back in the bag. It has good ventilation, but also can be zipped up to keep out rain and wind.

Terrible in any rain

If you want an indoor pool included this is the tent for you. Even the slightest bit of rain causes pools inside. Storm last night. Dumped out what I could and there is still 1/2 inch of water.

So far so good

My tent just arrived yesterday. I struggle on what to give this tent for rating because I just got it. It is easy to put up and take down. Zippers works well, just watch the cover flap. Fit the queen size blow up matress but it take up the entire tent.

Will work in a pinch.

I Bought this tent for car camping while traveling/sight seeing. This tent would be ok for a one and done weekend in the spring, to use in a pinch. My first use, It didn't leak too bad when it rained. One seam had a slight leak that built up a puddle but it was manageable. It withstood the wind but I had to redo the tent stakes to pull the tent tight to keep it from collapsing on me, I was also concerned the poles were going to snap because of how much it was collapsing. Not water proof at all

Brought this tent camping with our kids. We weren’t expecting rain until the second day but this tent is a weathertec so we weren’t worried about the rain falsely assuming that we would stay dry. Initially we stayed dry for about 30 minutes of drizzling rain but then it started to drip from the top of here the rain cover touches the beams. Great Tent—But Zipper Failed Right After Warranty

I did a lot of research before choosing the Coleman Sundome 6P tent, and at first, it truly felt like the perfect choice. It was easy to set up, spacious, and most impressively—completely waterproof. We had some rainy nights and stayed totally dry inside. For the price, I felt like I had found a gem. Unfortunately, just after the one-year warranty expired, the zipper on the main door broke. Rain proof performance is great; shock poles weak

I typically camp (no campgrounds) 6-9 nights a year. This tent has performed perfectly in heavy rains on numerous occasions which is vital and impressive for an inexpensive tent. The bottom/bath has been great. My only complaint is a splintered tent pole section (fiberglass) in the 3rd year (about 18 nights of use) which occurred during regular setup. For comparison, my previous Coleman 6 person tent lasted 14 years with no broken poles before the waterproofing gave out.

Terrible

I went on an overnight (sleeping in the forest in tents) while at an overnight camp, and all of my stuff got absolutely soaked by rain. The rain flooded the tent, leaving my sleeping bag, pillow, and more still damp the next day after. I had to then sleep in a barn with spiders.

Quality

I own alot of Coleman products from eskys to water bottles and camp lights and they are all extremely well made and strong so I can't see this product being no different
