Uneven Heat, Not enough room for charcoal

As you see many people say, it's very time consuming to put together. But that's not the main issue. The grill heats VERY unevenly. It works better as an oven than a direct heat grill. And the space for charcoal is so small. I have to pick and choose which pieces of coal will even fit in the space they allow for. Not what I had thought it was going to be.

Great Grill for both types of grilling

Was a great grill, but the FL weather got the best of it! Had to retire it to ensure no issues grilling would happen. Happily bought the 4 burner since guess either grills are going to be available in the near future! Hopefully a replacement will be even a better grill!

Enjoyed this grill

I enjoyed the grill, but for the price I wish it would have lasted longer. I had to replace the burner tubes and the deflector sheilds. The whole grill has started to ryst and fall apart after the 3 year mark

The Best for flavor!

If you want the amazing flavor of charcoal and the convenience of gas to light it look no farther as this grill is awesome! Overall design is great, grates are superb and its VERY easy to use! Simply remove grates add a layer of your favorite charcoal brand (empty between uses of course) put the grates back on flip on the gas tank, then (Tip!) the Middle burner first > depress the electronic igniter (takes a battery so no click snap action needed) then turn on the outer burners and ignite them...

Awesome flavor

I love it overall. Instead of charcoal, I use pellets in the tray to get that smokey flavor in a hurry. One thing that I am REALLY DISAPPOINTED about though is that you cant use it with a natural gas hookup.

Great grill but assembly was a pain

The dual fuel feature is amazing. The grill looks stylish and is compact enough. However the assembly was quite intricate. Some screws do not match the holes. The instructions are very poorly written. The whole process should be quick, but unfortunately isn’t.

Great Grill

This is a wonderful grill. Have used both gas and charcoal, both fuels work very well. The control on the gas grill lets you slow cook, or quick sear. The 3 controls work great together, and also very well on their own. The Charcoal section is close to the grates which makes searing very easy. You can leave a couple of the charcoal sections empty which gives you a cool spot to slow cook. Heats up quickly and can get super hot, or steady low temp for roasting. Out performs my Weber Gas Grill due ...

Uneven heating

Unfortunately it heats unevenly. I didn't know anything about grills and thought this may be normal. I'm trying to figure out how to fix it but I shouldn't need to do this after two months.

Perfect Grill!

It does everything I want in a grill gas and charcoal. Easy to clean. The assembly was a little complex. Overall the Perfect grill!!!!

Best of Both Styles

Love the grill! We can charcoal grill or gas grill when we choose.

Not durable

We had it for 3 years now. Everything is made cheaply. Temperature gauge stopped working after one summer, the lighting button stopped working after 2 summers and the plates are rusty and can't be used anymore. Trying to find replacement placements is a nightmare since this model isn't sold anymore. These things are made to last one season so you can buy another one. No thanks.

Best and most versatile grill I have owned

I have owned many grills including high end JennAir . And I would rather use this gas2coal any day of the week . So versatile and very easy to clean. Bear grill I have owned

Paint peeling & rusting

We keep the grill covered when not in use and the handle is showing rust. The inside cover's paint began peeling immediately. The design would be improved by allowing for a thicker layer of charcoal. Disappointed by how beat up it looked after one season.

RUST RUST RUST

I don’t think Lowe’s sells this anymore but if you find one in a store save your money. We loved the concept but unfortunately it has rusted out completely and the igniter no longer works after only 1.5 years. We kept it covered under a large porch where no water could even get to it. So disappointed.
