I bought this invertor generator tri-fuel powered and it’s working just great! For now, I used it only on gas! Worked perfect on a power outage for about 48 hours! It’s much quieter than the normal generator! I recommend this product! I was able to run the heating, light, 2 fridges and 1 freezer! That was quite enough for me!

Disappointed. Warranty Concern and Proper Supply

Would Not Recommend

Disappointed. Don’t purchase this unit unless you’re prepared to void your warranty by placing a quick connect on their supplied hose to your home supply line. They only support a hard connection (in their manual) that is screwed in, I’m assuming by a certified installer. Also this unit needs a flow rate of 135,000 btu - unless you have an 1/2 inch supply line that is under 20 feet - this unit may draw too much to preform properly. The 24 foot hose included makes no sense if you’re already at 20...

BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!!

This generator is perfect for our needs. While we normally have brief power interruptions of perhaps a few hours, we may have an occasional ice storm outage of 4-6 days. During hurricane Helene, no power for 11 days and no generator. We are now very prepared with our new Champion Tri-fuel generator. Between our five 20 lb propane tanks and gas containers, we can have hot showers, lights and most everything else we need if there is an outage. Our Champion starts right away which gives us ple...

Champion knocked it out again

I bought this as a home back up generator. I tested it by turning off my power and flipping my interlock switch. It powered the whole but I couldn't run the stove top, the dryer and the hot water heater at the same time, just one at a time, but in power outage I don't need any of those except the hot water heater maybe once day.

Champion Hurricane Prep

I am very pleased with the 5 hour break-in period. I monitored the voltage and Hz through out the process. The Hz reading stayed 60 on my multimeter. The 120 voltage was also impressive. I varied the load between 1000 and 2000w during the break-in period. The results were awesome. I had to slow down on adding oil during the oil change. My hose kept crimping! I have a Champion 10000w generator that is a beast! I needed a second generator that I would be more comfortable running all of my electron...

HONEsT opinion.

Would Recommend

Easy set up, like the tri-fuel. You will need to buy the male adapter for the NG hose quick connect. I wish the wire to convert to/back from floating bond system was in an easier location(have to take gas tank off). Still pretty noisy, about the same as my 4000/3500 champion generator. Don’t even need the electric start, starts on first easy pull everytime. Not wild about no off switch, you have to turn the gas off and let it run out everytime. Would buy again.

Champion Generator

Would Recommend

We bought a Champion generator , model 201176, last fall. We had experienced Hurricane Helene in our area the fall before that. I did not wish to go 5+ days again with no electricity. This generator was easy to set up, and we had an electrician hard wire in a receptacle to plug the generator into. Thankfully, we have only had to test run the generator and it did a great job. It was much quieter than other generators we have had in the past. We did purchase the cover for the generator and it keep...

Not able to give an honest review, as of now. Waiting to have a transfer switch installed and then I can apply a heavier load.

Champion inverters are THE BEST

Would Recommend

I've owned Champion generators since 2007. They are great. My 1st one was a 1200 watt gas generator, that sat for almost 7 years and started on the 3rd pull with 7 year old gas in it. Now I own 5 Champion inverter generators and bought 3 for my children. This 9kw is so easy to move, set up and operate.

Whole house backup in case of a power outage

Would Recommend

I purchased the Champion 9000W tri-fuel inverter generator last fall for whole house backup in case of a power outage. It will not support my central air, electric dyer or stove. But it does provide a clean electrical output for my gas heating circulation system, microwave, computers, Wifi, TV and lights. I got my plumber to provide a natural gas tap to run this generator and an electrician to install a outside connection to the electrical panel. I like that I can also use gas or propane as an a...

6 month old unit won't start

Would Not Recommend

We have done everything we were supposed to do and everything was cruising along smoothly. Following the manual we started the unit every month and let it run for 30 minutes. This month we started it and it ran for 5 minutes and then shut down. It will not start again!

Excellent value for the money

Would Recommend

This is the "little engine that could" of generators. Tri-Fuel: check. Inverter: check. Reasonable price: check. Reasonable weight: check. I only wish it came is a larger version. It seems once you cross the 9000 watt threshold prices go up dramatically.
