Perfect Replacement

The tools thqt you need include a screwdriver and possibly a ladder, and that's it. The one screw that you remove to access the battery accepts either a Philips or flat screwdriver. Terminals are color coded and size differentiated making incorrect installation essentially impossible. Leads push onto terminals. Easy to install is an understatement. Immediately stopped low charge alert. Impressive experience. Can't go wrong with Chamberlain!

Garage door batery backup

My garage does not have a "From House" entry, so having the battery backup is very important to me in times of a power outage. I live in Arizona and the summer heat can really do a number on batteries. I find that this battery will hold up about 18 to 24 months which is adequate for my needs considering it can easily get to 100 degrees in the garage.

I bought the belt type with smart feature MyQ and battery back up (3/4 hp). It is very quiet compare to my old chamberlain (chain drive). Everything is good however my main complain is it keep losing WIFI signal from my camera, and the loading time for the live view takes more than 20 seconds and sometime it never loads, my ring cameras take only less than 10s and they are further away from my router (outside). Battery backup system replacement battery

Seems like a decent battery. I had to replace an older battery from Chamberlain that was not labeled with an installation date by the previous homeowner, so we don't know how long it lasted. We have a LiftMaster which has a garage door that spans 2 garage spaces with no other outside access, and no access to the house. If we have a power failure, we have to count on the battery to get the garage door open.

Batteries - Facts

The batteries contain Lead Acid not Sulfuric Acid. Sulfuric acid would eat through your hand, Lead Acid will cause a minor irritation or a slight burn. (27 yrs in the Alarm / Fire Business handling these batteries) @Support - Will the operator support AGM batteries?

This battery was needed to replace the one that came with the brand new opener which had only been installed 13 months ago. The opener is continuously plugged into an electrical outlet and the very FIRST time we lost power the battery barely had enough strength to open and shut our door more than once, and it beeped every 30 seconds which was a little irritating.
