Replacement for an old Liftmaster Garage Door Open

Very easy replacement for an old Liftmaster (former name for Chamberlain products). I was able to use all of the same wires, chain, rails, and safety eyes. Now I have brand new backups for all of those parts. The outdoor digital key pad and ability to control the light from inside were very nice additions that the old Liftmaster did not have. Also, the new opener has two lights rather than just one providing much more light in the garage. Overall a very pleasing purchase.

excellent door operator

I am a professional garage door service tech (19 years in this line of work) and Chamberlain is by far the best in garage door openers. And the price of this product makes it the best value. You will be pleased. I come across some openers almost 30 years old and still working fine.

Quickest Install ever.

First time Installer, I installed 2 of these for a friend of mine and they were the simplest to install and adjust. Highly recommend, GREAT buy with 2 remotes and a wireless keypad.

Making Mama happy!

Our old craftsman remote died, and left us / Mama very UNHAPPY since we could no longer pair another remote transmitter to work on the craftsman unit. We brought this 0.5 HP Chamberlain as a replacement. We like this selection because of the bonus key pad, We found that the installation went easy, instructions were well laid out and easy to follow. The equipment was nicely packaged and this new unit works like a champ. MAMA is Happy!

I purchase several Chamberlain garage door openers a week for our company. It is the only opener we will install because it's reliable, and in the rare chance that something breaks, it's simple, easy, and inexpensive to repair. It comes with a wonderful warranty and is very high quality product. This particular unit is a good price to get all the necessary accessories for your opener.

Better than expected

Was concerned about installing this opener on a 16X8 garage door. Works great and a great value for the money. Wasn't concerned about noise because it was going on a pole barn, however it is very quite and would not hesitate to use on an attached garage. chain driven, very very quite

i was amazed at how quite this chain driven garage door opener is. The former one was very noisy. I had to be sitting in my driveway to open it. This one opens from about one block away. Very satisfied with this item.

Great Opener

This is a very good opener for the price you pay. It comes with 2 remotes and and outside keypad with batteries already installed. Does not come with light bulbs. Very easy to install with instructions that at some points can be confusing so read them carefully. Took me about 2 hours to install it by myself. The remotes are already programmed and the key pad is easily programmed by pressing the learn button and within 30 seconds putting in the 4 digit code and then pressing and holding the enter...

After a straightforward install with easy to perform adjustments and tests, came the issues with the remotes. The supplied remotes seemed to work fine until I returned to the garage only to find that they did not work. Replacing the batteries as suggested in the instructions helped but the door still would not open every time. The home-link transmitters in my two vehicles do not reliably open the door.
