Excellent Safe for the Money -- Best Delivery Ever

I ordered this safe yesterday afternoon and it arrived early this morning! The guys brought it in, took it downstairs, removed it from the pallet and set it in it's final home. Unbelievably great job! The safe itself seems pretty sturdy and well made. For the price, there's simply no beating this safe. The dial is a little tricky, but once you learn the particular pattern for this safe, it's a breeze. I highly recommend this safe if you don't want to spend upwards of $1,000.

Excellent safe

I decided to get a safe as I have rifles and handguns, I looked round and saw safes in every price range. This safe caught my eye and decided to buy it, thought what the heck if I don't like I can give it to a family member, needless to say I have it and I am very happy with it. It has adjustable shelves so I also have my coin collection in it. All in all a great safe, I highly recommend it.

Best bang for the buck!

I bought mine on sale @ $100 off, $297 I think it was. By far the best safe I've seen @ that price! Even if I had to pay the full price it was still the best deal IMO compared to others I shopped. Other safes at this price weighed much less. I use it for everything from securing documents, bullion, weapons to medicines to keep out of reach of my kids. Great peace of mind.

Delivery Charge

Unfortunately, the delivery charge was too high and too slow considering that it was delivered right down the road from Lowe's.

Great safe - first time gun safe owner

This is my first gun safe and it's exactly what I needed. I did a lot of research and landed on this safe from Lowe's. I ordered it online and picked it up from the store the same day. They loaded in my minivan and I was able to get it in the house with a dolly, then slide it down the stairs into my basement by myself (it's a 260-lb safe, but I'm a 6'4", 240-lb 35 yr-old in decent shape). Nice Safe at a Good Price

We bought this safe to replace a smaller one that we had. After looking around at several sporting goods stores we couldnt believe the price on this item at Lowes, so I called to make sure it was right ...and it was. Safe

This is a decent safe for the money. It has an easily changed interior and is a convenient size.

I waited 2 months for my second Cannon safe, and it was never delivered. So I cancelled it and found this safe at my local Lowe's. I picked it up and took it home same day. This safe has the features of my Cannon except it is lighter and does not have the guarantees Cannon provides. This safe was for the garage and it fits the bill just fine at almost half the price.

Great product

I loved it, my husband is happy having his hunting guns in one place and organized and safe, it is a little heavy to take it up stair but it looks really good in a closet down stairs. It was the greatest Christmas gift for him.

Will cut it open tomorrow

I was delighted with the price and good quality of this safe. However after a short time the combination dial started sticking. It still worked ok, so I lived with it. Well now it is full of guns and ammoe and it will not open. I have tried a hundred times to no avail. Tomorrow I will move it to my garage and cut it open. Ah the old lesson, you do get what you pay for.

After reading the reviews I purchase two of these safe's on Black Friday for Christmas gifts. My son and husband both were very pleased and shocked when I told them the price.

For the money, it doesn't get any better!

The door only "pins" in the left side. The right side has recessed hinges made from almost 1/4" steel so no one will easily pry the door open or off. Inside you will find that the fabric is nicely "tucked" at the edges. Only the bottom is not sewn or glued in so you may from time to time have to re-tuck the material on the floor. nice safe, can't beat the price. i like the adjustable shelves. no hardware included to mount to the floor.

Cons: Shot guns can only go on left side if you plan to use the top shelf, easliy holds 10 guns - 14 would be tight & stocks bumping each other when trying to get a gun out. Pros: Excellent storage for valuables, combination easy to use, once bolted to ground unit is very sturdy when opening door. Shelving is sturdy & holds a large amount of valuables on the 4 shelves, with still enough space on other side for some guns. Lowes had the best price.

I think this is the best safe for the money. It is far better than other safes in its price range.

Great safe for smaller houses

I wanted a safe, but my house is too small for a large safe. This one is the perfect size. It's very solid, and looks very nice. I bought it while it was on sale for $297.00 and am very happy with my purchase. The only drawback is that it is small enough that two grown men could maybe steal the whole safe if not bolted down, so bolt it down.
