I have been using Cascade Complete Fresh Scent because I can’t find the Cascade original in my area. This stuff hasn’t been getting the insides of the coffee cups clean. The scent is overwhelming! It’s terrible! Any plastics that are in the dishwasher reek of the detergent smell. I switched from the liquid to the action packs thinking maybe they wouldn’t smell so strongly, even though it’s significantly more expensive. The smell is just as strong. Husbands loyal to Cascade!

Cascade has been a member of our house hold since I was a small child, maybe before that. I am 38yr old now and have 3 boys of my own. There very beautiful mother inside and out, handles the cooking. While I cant say I do the dishes to help every night, but on a blue moon I will. I rely on Cascade Powers Away w/ Dawn my go to, and her go too. Actually if anyone uses anything else, They will no longer be welcomed! Were LOYAL CASCADE!!!! WHOOOOO!!!

Perfume doesn’t belong on clean plates

SO MUCH FRAGRANCE. I have to put all the clean dishes through a rinse cycle just to not taste or smell fragrance in my food. Yikes! Why?

Spotting needs to be addressed

I’m a dishwasher technician and maintenance specialist so it’s safe to say I use my machine correctly everytime, all my wash arms are always free of any blockages & my dishwasher is cleaned once a month and is probably the most sanitary dishwasher in the world with how clean I keep it. I’ve been using this gel on and off for many many years and it seems to struggle in different water types. Noticeably Cleaner Dishes

We just happened to switch to this when we ran out of a well-known store brand that we had been perfectly happy with. And WOW! We never realized there could be such a difference in the cleanliness of our dishes. But it's absolutely noticeable. It was immediately apparent that we had been using a subpar product and Cascade Complete has gained a household customer. Well done!

Poor quality clean, leaves residue behind!

I strongly dislike this dishwasher detergent liquid/gel. It always leaves a white film/residue on all my dishes. It is not capable of cleaning stuck on food. I have tried loading my Whirlpool dishwasher with pre-rinsed dishes and it still leaves residue behind on all my glasses, dishes, and silverware. I've also tried adding less and more detergent with the same result. The detergent can be tasted when drinking water too...gross. Bring Back The "Original" Product

The Original product removed stains from coffee cups effectively. Can't find this product anymore. This new product doesn't work near as well. Forced to switch brands.

Would NOT recommend Complete Gel

I always used Cascade Original and loved how tea stains and chocolate milk stains came out of my mugs and plastic cups. Since I can no longer find the Original, I had to switch to the Complete formula. It does NOT get out these stains. I am going to have to try a different brand of detergent or wash my dishes by hand. Not sure why you would change a product to something that doesn't work as well. Maybe it needed to be tested by actual users. And don't tell me it's my water or dishwasher be...

This is the first time I have purchased cascade complete gel,and have used it just a few times. We have very soft water so Serviceperson told me to use a very small amount. Haven't noticed any residue yet. My only complaint is the screw top. I have arthritis in my hands and squeezing and opening is a problem. (Im 80 ) I'm sure the government insists on regulating certain parts of a product; however, any chance you have any different lids in a closet somewhere?

Don't buy

I hate this product. I can't get Cascade Original liquid where I live anymore. The Complete isn't worth a dime. The insides of my dishwasher and all my clear pitchers & bowls and anything white is now brown after using this junk for several months. Bring back Original please.

Lousy Performance

We have bought this product. It performs badly. Frequently leaves residue on all the the dishes and utensils. I have taken pictures of the residues left on plates, bowls, and utensils. Cheeses are a problem, especially parmesan. I have a sink full of soapy water ready when the wash finishes and scrub the dirty dishes as I take them out. Other times I haven't even bothered with the dish washer and just washed them by hand.

Will not purchase again.

Leaves strong odor in my drinking glasses. I prefer Original Fresh Scent instead.

Expiration date

This a question...not a review. Does Cascade Complete (citrus gel) have an expiration date? It is not on the bottle. I have an old bottle that I found in storage. The following number is on the label: #91012099

Gel Doesn't Dissolve

I have used Cascade for many years and it has always done a good job on the dishes. Just started using the gel formula and find that it doesn't dissolve during the washing cycle, leaving a sticky residue in the soap dispenser, a long soap streak down the door and ending in a pool of unused gel in the bottom of the dishwasher. With so much soap stuck to the dishwasher door, I wonder how much soap is actually being used. I'll probably pitch this gel stuff and see if I can find the old formula p...

You will look good using Cascade Complete!

Just exceptional, my wife cooks the meals and I'm in charge of cleaning up. Cascade Complete makes me good and I love the compliments when I empty the dishwasher the next morning. Super clean and sparkling and a little bit goes a long way! I'm a hero!

Not An Improvement

Cascade Complete does not remove the green tea stains from my mugs. It also fails to remove oils left on dishes. The Original Cascade always did a fine job.

This stuff wasn't too

This stuff wasn't too bad, but didn't work the best in my dishwasher. Once in awhile our detergent compartment would get stuck and then half the detergent wouldn't get used and would instead leak. When it worked, it worked well, but the aforementioned problem happened more often than not with it. The scent is a little off-putting too. Likely not buying this stuff again.

Cascade is one of the best brand for dishwasher. I love the powder because I can decide how much product I want to use. The price is amazing considering how long it lasts (around 3 months)!! I will not changed it!

I have never really

I have never really been a fan of the soap on the dish washer because I am always expecting them to do miracles. Yes, I need to admit I am lazy! However, this is a miracle worker! It really makes a difference when we use it to clean our dishes, pots and pans on the dishwasher!

Affordable and gets the

Affordable and gets the touch stains out. Only takes a little bit of soap to complete a full load. Highly recommend.
