Safe was damaged -- refused shipment

The safe was damaged -- dent in the back, scrape marks on the front as if hit by the forklift. The safe stayed on the truck. Refused to accept it. Where was the QA before shipping this to a customer? Please refund my card with this purchase. I will be buying elsewhere. Terrible

I purchased a Cannon safe online for one of my sons for Christmas. He is stationed in Crestview Fla. and our home is in North Carolina. I ordered it online to be delivered just after Christmas. Safe Delivery

My local Inverness Lowes did a great job with delivery. All the pieces & parts came with the safe. Considering some of the horror stories I've read about safe deliveries, this was a pleasant surprise.

I went to pick up my safe.They brought it out to the loading area.On a pallet, we placed it in the vehicle.They assisted me as it laid in the vehicle.I noticed a big scratch about eight inches long.All the way down to the metal.It was not done while the workers assisted me loading it. it was done in the storage area in the back of the store. so, I thought I was getting a nice new safe, nope... damaged. scratched, the handles in the front were scratched down to metal as well. new safe, full price...

Good Purchase

Okay, so I am very satisfied with the product itself, the assistance I received from no less than 3 people at the store, and the purchase price. However, I told the salesperson that I had to have it delivered AND PLACED inside my home, and that I would be willing to pay extra if needed. The safe weighs 635 pounds. Lowe’s associate was very curtious and helpful loading the safe. When I got the safe home and put it together, it was missing 2 handle spokes.

Sufficient but not excellent

The finish is already chipping away. I have to push (hard) on the bottom of the door in order to be able to re-lock it. The price was fair, but it's a mediocre quality safe.

Had damage to it when delivered.

We looked at this safe at a Lowes store and decided to purchase however when the safe was delivered, it had significant damage to the top of it along the seams. It appeared as though it hadn’t been welded properly in the corner and insulation was exposed. Contacted Lowes who offered to exchange it for a new one however they didn’t have any more of them in stock so they will be refunding my money. The safe did appear to be pretty decent for the price though.

Nice safe for the money

I would have rated higher if it had come with all the parts and documentation. Sad that they could not wipe the dust off the top of the Safe though. The interior looks good. Minor paint scratches on the door. Would not have minded the scratches as much if they were on any other side of the safe. Hopefully Cannon will send the missing items as Lowe's could not or would not look for them in the store.

Nice safe ,Customer Service at Lowe’s informed me with the delivery fee they will bring the safe inside my house they didn’t when they arrived the guys told me they couldn’t because of insurance If I new that I would have bought some where else

After this safe was paid for, I opened the safe to make sure all of the parts were there. I found several of the parts missing. I told the young lady that was working the register about the missing parts. She called the manager. The parts were replaced quickly. When the safe was delivered. The delivery crew were very professional. They put the safe were I wanted it.
