Pretty, but poor quality

We have had ours for several years now. We bought it for the look, and that was our mistake. In the 4 years or so since we've had it we've had to replace the pump twice. The second time, it had been slowly leaking every cycle and we didn't realize it until it soaked through to our basement ceiling. Now we need to replace our kitchen floor entirely. Bait n switch wifi

Bottom rack doesn’t slide out easily. When we bought it the salesman said it had WiFi to allow more features. The Installer, from GE, said he didn’t know much about the unit. The instruction manual talked about WiFi. 4 phone calls to GE’s outsourced service department we found out our unit doesn’t have it. They offered to install it for $$. Confusing manual and no good person to explain things. Should have stuck with Kitchen Aide

Not as nice as old version

Not made as well as my previous Cafe’ from 2010. Toekick is cheap black painted metal plate, which doesn’t match SS dishwasher or other Cafe’ appliances next to it. I ordered a $67 part from GE that appears to be like old one but it has not arrived yet. Door cables are cloth string rather than metal like previous one.

Quiet and Amazing

This dishwasher has so much space. It is also extremely quiet. The baskets are not thick or bulky. Dishes come out so clean.

Water in filter upon delivery that stank

We were so pleased to find a matching appliance on sale. But in preparing for install, we started inspecting and attaching components and found the filter was waterlogged and stank. This was days after delivery whereas we had been preparing the space with new electrical and finish work. There should be a factory printed notice very plainly available on a pull off tab that indicates if this a normal factory delivery status. Ultra Quiet

Best dishwasher I have owned. Unbelievably quiet, which is important to us as we have an open floor plan. Does a great job in cleaning the dishes as well. Highly recommend.

Quiet and beautiful

Very quiet appliance. Easy to use. Clean dishes at end of cycle! Good capacity. It comes with a rack at the very top for large spoons and knives.

Unusable product

This dishwasher leaked the 1st and 2nd time we tried to use. Repair person arriving next week. Leaked from underneath and by the right side of door. Very disappointed. Hopefully we have better luck with refrigerator, range, and microwave!!! Also, piece on the bottom is very flimsy and cheaply made. I would not recommend this appliance.

Way off from my other cafe appliances

I’m very disappointed with the overall quality and reliability of this dishwasher. We’ve already had it repaired twice, which is unacceptable for an appliance that’s supposed to be durable and dependable. The build quality feels subpar, with components that seem prone to failure far sooner than expected. In addition, the noise level is much higher than advertised. Not worth the extra money

Have owned this diswasher for just over 5 years. We remodeled and bought all new GE Cafe appliances. The dishwasher door leaked at first use. GE sent a repair company out who ended up removing some of the rubber insulation around the outside of the machine. Problem solved. Not your old Cafe

No where near the quality and features of the Cafe dishwasher this replaced. Specifically wash jets under silverware basket, button for bottle jets. One touch middle rack adjustment. Heating element exposed. My fault. Purchased on line and never saw it, figured it was a Cafe.

Support is lacking a bit

Unit arrived dented, was collected 2 days later and I am still waiting to hear about delivery and install. Rec'd an automated message today, it was very unclear however I did detect "Lowe's" mentioned. I called the number they left and the person could not provide any information and passed me along to "appliance" - where I was promptly hung up on. I hope it is a good product once it finally gets here

Do not buy GE

This dishwasher worked great for about a year and a half. Then it didn't. Now after 4 years it does not work at all. If you are going to spend money on a nice dishwasher, I would not buy this one. It has one problem after another. We bought an entire set of Cafe appliances and the only one that still works (for now) is the refrigerator. I will not be going with GE for any more of my appliances. I can't get rid of these fast enough.

Custom Fit Cafe Dishwasher

Great dishwasher easy to use, very quiet, excellent cleaning. Holds a large amount of dishes and layout is very functional.
