Solid Upgrade

I’ve owned the fridge for about 3 weeks and it is a solid upgrade. PROS: It looks great and elevates the look of the kitchen to gourmet. The water/filter quality is top tier and the auto sense fill feature saves time when filling up a glass or a measuring cup. And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage. CONS. No Ice

After paying to install four replacement ice makers after the original one quit last June we still don’t have ice

too expensive for what you get

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's not very deep, so there's not much room as a regular fridge. The doors are squeaking after 4 months, and I am not sure if the warranty will cover this. Also had two plastic pieces come off the interior of the fridge.

Fully what we expected and hoped for!

This fridge has been in place for just a couple of weeks and we do expect to have many years of use from it. This is no small investment in either purchase or installation, this size appliance is the flagship of the company and is a significant thing to deliver and install, and as a built-in item, the exact dimensions of the exact location must be precise.

Brand New Refrigerator is too warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand new refrigerator that came with our home is too warm to keep food from spoiling (maintains around 50 F). We have been waiting for the repair team to fix the issue but it has been 3 months so far without a resolution.

Looks Fantastic

They do come out in advance and measure the opening and make sure the power is in the right spot. I had to move my power up to the top of the fridge. Easy fix. Overall great refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful refrigerator with ample storage and extremely quiet when running. Very well lit with LEDs at every level. Very happy overall with this unit and I would definitely buy again. This unit weighs around 800lbs so plan on having the delivery people install it for you. We attempted to move this unit with 4 big burly guys and had zero success. Leave this one to the pros!

DO NOT BUY

poorly made appliance. fridge is 5 years old and the ice maker failed, the heater pan has been replaced twice and the cooling fan. would not recommend this appliance to anyone. save money and buy something more reputable.

Door shelves a total let down

The door shelves are almost useless. Very very difficult to get smaller items (like the butter) out of the door shelves

Piece of Junk

Bought this fridge in Nov 2022. Also bought an extended warranty from Assurant. In Dec 2024, fridge quit working. Bodewell (GE Service) has now been to my home 7 times to either diagnose or replace parts and fridge still does not work (installed defrost pan kit, main cpu board, fridge thermister, and fridge door switches). Now replacing defrost heater and bimetal switch. We have been without fridge for almost 3 months. Assurant will not refund money since Bodewell techs/engineer will not state u...

Better than expected

Just had the refridgerator installed and it’s beautiful! It has a slight commercial look to it, which is what I wanted!

This is premium? No, it is not.

Parts rattle, water dispenser doesn’t work, no room. No idea how GE could ask this price for this unit.

Great Features for the price

We replaced a 35 year old Subzero, new one was just too expensive. Kind of early to determine the quality or how it will hold up. It appears to be good quality and has the features we were looking for
