Continues to break year after year, spent too much

The dishwasher has gone through two pumps. Two complete lower racks. Two silver ware racks. Multiple wheels and rollers have melted. Now the 2nd lower arm has melted, the lower Mesh cover has melted and cracked. I am out of warranty. I have spent more money in service fees and replacement parts than what the thing cost new. Please avoid the cafe dish washers at all costs. They look pretty but are completely unreliable and really are poorly made and hate to say it just junk. These should last man...

4 years later, 4 broken parts and damage

We have had this dishwasher for 4 years and have had to replace 4 parts. The sprayer arm broke and was getting caught on the heating element. One of the bottom rack wheels has become dislodged and is constantly falling off. The pull at the front of the bottom rack has also broken off and falls off every time we pull up on it when moving the rack. And now, we have found that a gasket under the unit has been leaking long enough that it pooled and began dripping through the subfloor into our baseme...

Poor Value

Had it for about 4 years and we had it serviced 4 times and about to purchase a new one. Don’t great value

Great until it leaked everywhere

Worked great for the first three years until it flooded our kitchen and down into our basement. Luckily could the leak before there was extensive damage but seems like a common issue with this elbow breaking and flooding peoples homes.

Do not buy

It does not clean cups on the top shelf or anything slightly dirty on the top utensils pull out. It is already starting to look old after <2 years. There is also no rinse only cycle. Extremely dissapointed.

Poor Appliance - Melted Spray Arm!

We have encountered multiple issues with this dishwasher. First, within about a month of ownership - the indicator light fell into the wall of the appliance (weird). Now, the lower spray-arm like MELTED. I noticed this when I went to clean the filter thinking that was the reason why it has been cleaning so poorly. After researching, the spray arms often melt and are fire hazards! BEWARE - avoid purchasing!

Horrible Quality Product Sold as Luxury

This is one of the worst dishwashers on the market. It was installed in July 2021 in a new build home and is rusting on the door hinges, the front "stainless steel" is rusting, the dishrack coating has entirely degraded and is also breaking down and rusting. Horribly quality product.

Terrible (only buy if you like hand-washin dishes)

This dishwasher does not clean dishes. I have to pre or post wash everything. It hasn't worked from the start

Doing first load of glasses using the China cycle it's been two hours not sure how long it's going to take didn't see what the norm is. Super quiet. Love that . Will revisit after week let you how it goes. I have so much glass wear the China setting was a must.

Just doing first load now but on China for my expensive glass wear been running a little over two hours so not sure what the China setting is. But it's a beautiful machine . I will do another in the next few weeks to see how it does.

Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Operates really well, and is so quiet we never know whether it’s running or not. Haven’t had any issues of things being dirty after a cycle. Capacity is excellent - never have to run more than one cycle a day.

Beautiful Piece!

GE deletes and blocks negative reviews on their sub par cheaply made products that don't last over a year

Don't Buy

Lasted a little over 2 years and now we can't even get it to run. Had 3 parts replaced and finally the repair man said he couldn't fix it and left after 4 separate visits.

Gorgeous

First.... I love love love the matte white finish! So gorgeous! Cleans great! Love the very top pull out for my longer utensils and mug covers! Super quiet!

Ease of installation

So easy to install myself and it is very quiet. The fingerprint resistant exterior is nice too.

DO NOT PURCHASE GE CAFE APPLIANCES

I recommend NOT PURCHASING this dishwasher. The lower spray head came apart during the first year and the replacement part the service tech brought had the same problem out of the bag. Additionally, the door does not align with the washer body, causing a significant bump when pulling out the lower dish tray, often jumping off track. There is no way to adjust door alignment. Parts issue; poor quality; will break once warranty runs out. Won't buy GE again

Cheap interior

The exterior is lovely. The interior is cheap plastic. Racks pop out of place easily and won’t hold heavy dishes. I will not buy another ge dishwasher.
