What Customers Are Saying
The trimmer has a mixed reception, with some praising its power and ease of use in handling tall weeds and dense vegetation, while others report issues like the trimmer not shutting off, the cord not retracting, and the trimmer line coming off frequently. Some find it too heavy and difficult to maneuver, especially on hills and slopes, with a high center of gravity that makes it prone to tipping over. The overall consensus is that it is a capable machine when working properly, but the design and build quality issues can be a significant drawback for some users, especially on challenging terrain.

Would RecommendThis thing is great, easy to use, the thick line is really tuff and cuts thru tall grass, black berry stalks etc like nothing , love it
From craftsman.com
It is apparently poorly made.
One of the back wheels came off during the second use.

It has good operating performance.
Would RecommendThe Craftsman trimmer has lots of power. It cuts weed very rapidly and makes the job of cutting tall and weedy areas quickly. It was easy to walk behind the trimmer and cut the weeds.

Great product!
Would RecommendThis thing is a beast! I have really thick grass and it has the power to cut right through and make short work of it! Definitely worth the money.

One seasons use
Would Not RecommendUsed 1 season, now won't start. Absolute junk.
Animal cutting machine
Great machine, lots of power and the Kohler 173cc engine is unstoppable. Buy one before they quit making them.

Gets the job done
Would RecommendEasier to maneuver than a hand held weed eater….sometimes take a little muscle to maneuver on rough terrain…heavy duty string stands up to trimming against chain link better than weed eater….Have owned it for going on ten years and besides a primer bulb and throttle spring she’s still going strong!

Bad push handle
Would Not RecommendThe handle that you push it around with is cheap and poorly made. I used mine two times and it broke on the right side. Just replacing it won't work so I will probable have a new one fabricated. The rest of the machine is great and works well
works awesome always starts on first pull
Would RecommendStarted on first pull
