I'm a lady working in a warehouse, and I wanted a snazzy box cutter. I tried to assemble the tool on the job. I had to get a delivery truck driver to unscrew it. Then, I ended up waiting until a 15 minute break and still didn't get to put the box cutter back together. I took my time at home and put it back together after trial and error. Not what I hoped for

I like Craftsman products, but this tool is poorly designed. It took forever to put the blade in and realign the pins and slots. I give 2 stars because it feels good in my hand and has 6 retractable positions. Hope it is a long time until next blade change.

same as the others no clue how to insert the blade. just bought this more. returning it now. no instructions on package and super tiny print for what is there

Hard to change blade

It’s too complicated to change the blade. I’m experienced with retractable blades, but this one is ridiculously frustrating to get back together. It should be quick and easy and safe.

Blade Storage Over Engineered

This utility knife works as described. However, I found the blade storage compartment a nuisance and a little unnecessary. It makes it much harder to reassemble after changing out the blades and the convenience factor isn't there as you could have just stored the blades in the handle without a flip down compartment. As I don't need to change blades all that frequently, not enough for me to return or give away, but definitely something I wouldn't purchase again.

Less than garbage

Im 48 years old and have dozens of tools. In my entire lifetime I've never seen a more cumbersome or poorly designed product. Do not buy this under any set of circumstances. It's not worth it even if it's free . Also comes with no instructions or diagram.
