Would RecommendFirst off, this is a compact electric screwdriver, if you have the bits for it (needs to be hexagonal base) you might be able to drill a small hole into wood, but that isn't really what this is for. it is more intended for things you would use a normal screwdriver for. it is great for furniture assembly, or random small tasks, which is why i got it. it is primarily designed to use the shorter non-retaining bits, but you can still use retaining bits on it, but it will only be held in by a magnet...

Would RecommendDoes more than what i need. Even drives 2.5 inch wood screws into wood which i would not recommend for a 4v but if drill or impact is dead and you only have 1 or 2 2.5 inch wood screws go for it.

Handy little thing
Would RecommendI like this tool. It's a good replacement for turning things by hand with a screwdriver. It is not an impact driver and had a tough time running screws in without a predrilled hole. It does not have any bit retention system so occasionally the bit stays on the screw head when you pull the tool away. I do like that it has a rotating bit carriage and a magnet for holding screws.
