Great tool for rehabbing old furniture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this for updating old furniture. The stapler is easy to use and I save so much time. This has all the features I need and I enjoy using it.

just ok

just unpacked. lowes q&a said the hose was 25 feet. The hose i unpacked was only 15. the manual says if you need to use an extension cord, you would need to use a 12 awg or bigger(10 or 8). but the cord that is on the unit is only an 18awg. if this unit was not on clearance, I would not have looked at it. I am hoping it works as craftsman indicates.

Great Compressor

Got this size and shape after years of having pull behind, ankle biting, oil drinking boat anchor! It performs great and hold pressure well enough for a nail gun and easily for a 18g brad. Ordered online and got a text saying it was read. Walked in, signed and left in a couple minutes if that. Team at Waterford FL were grear!

Bad regulator

I’ve owned the original porter cable compressors ( dozens) for years. They were small workhorses that would always run , even on the coldest of days. I’m a week into this craftsman and there is already a bad regulator. Either planned obsolescence or trying to save some cents on a cheaper regulator, I’m unsure of which but very disappointing to see yet another tool which has gotten an unimprovement.

Junk, failed within 9 months

Unit failed within 9 months of light use. Craftsman will not allow a return and will only replace with the exact same unit. There is no ability to trade up to a larger unit even if I pay the price difference. They also will not extend the warranty and I expect the same failure in a few months. Craftsman no longer makes quality products or stands by them.

When I got my Air pump and nail gun kit home, it was missing the air hose. Then 2 days later, I went back and bought a Craftsman drill set and got it home and it was missing a battery and battery charger. So I won’t leave the parking lot until I know I got what I bought for now on.
