Mulching Kit may not have been brand new.
Package was previously opened, re-taped and has a white label, handwritten with the part number. I have know idea if it's the right part, damaged or other, it appears to be a return. I may be returning this product if I can't confirm they are actually the right parts.

Be careful to get right fitting blade
Would Not RecommendWe bought the mower and added the mulching kit which was part of the Lowe’s suggested add on items. I have only now had a chance to remove the cutting deck and get a 15/16” socket. Now I find the mulch blades have a star pattern and the mower a S pattern so no good to use. Very annoying and Lowes should not recommend this kit for the mower Now to put it all back together again with original blade :-(

Chute cover doesn’t fit - grass shoots out
Would Not RecommendHorrendous design. Chute cover leaves at least an inch gap along the entire deck. No matter how much you try to align it and rig it - it is impossible to close it tightly. Grass shoots out and doesn’t get mulched, leaving long grass that eventually turns brown and leaves your lawn looking like you are drying hay. Eventually the grass packed the gap, but my well-intended father cleaned it out. Now I have the gap, it’s not closing with grass and I cannot seem to rig it to close it.
