Ratings & Reviews for CRAFTSMAN 208-cc 16-in Rear -Tine Counter-rotating Tiller
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the tiller's powerful performance in tough, rocky, and clay-heavy soils, with many highlighting reliable starting and the self-propelled reverse feature that reduces physical strain. However, significant concerns persist regarding assembly quality, with reports of missing bolts, improperly installed cables, and deflated tires requiring customer correction. The handle is frequently criticized for flexing and weakness, and design limitations like small tines and lack of true neutral mode frustrate some users. Despite these drawbacks, most customers find the tiller effective and manageable for its intended purpose.

starting issues
Would Not RecommendI bought this same tiller less than a year ago & only used it twice for less than 2 hrs. The second time it had trouble starting then now it won't start at all. The gas was changed & it's been kept inside the entire time. I did all the other obvious checks, power on, choke, spark plug, ect.

Watch out in reverse
Would RecommendThe only thing I don’t like is that when reverse the machine the tiller tines rotate. Other than that it is the perfect tiller in size, power, and versatility. I’m very happy with it.
