Would RecommendThe product was everything I expected. The service was very disappointing. There was one gentleman whose job it was to handle online orders that had arrived, and he was nowhere to be found. There were associates at the return desk who saw me and had no customers before them yet chose not to ask me if I needed any assistance. I finally solicited their help. That is when the gentleman assigned to this area walks up. Very frustrating pick up process.
Like more than other brand.
Would RecommendWe haven’t installed this to replace existing wood gable vent that has rotted on bottom. The vents are under the slats so rain should not get inside attic. It seems nice and better than other brand sold by competitor. It does come with a screen attached. We have painted it.

Easy to install and looks fantastic
Would Not RecommendSimple tricks to install. I made a template of the 22"octagon shape plus 1/2" with the cardboard box it came in. I traced this on my siding and used an oscillating multi-tool to cut through the siding. Then I cut the recommended 16" x 16" rough -in hole in the sheathing with the same tool and then flashed and installed the vent. Very simple and looks awesome.
