Not an easy machine
Definitely not a machine for beginners. I have been sewing for 60+ years and find this machine very difficult to operate. The owner’s manual is NO help whatsoever, I have had to Utube a lot of things and even then had to watch over & over to get it.

Too Many Instructions
This was my first Brother sewing machine I had purchased. The screwdriver and screw to remove the needle was impossible to do. The instruction booklet was much too involved with the different languages and the quick guide was too busy to follow all the numbered areas to go through. I decided to return this product and buy from a company that I have a sewing machine for many years and have always appreciated the instruction booklets they came with. Excellent Sewing Machine, But Returned
I LOVE Brother sewing machines. My old one is 35 years old! I really liked this sewing machine, but quickly realized it was too complex for me. I returned it and ordered a simpler Brother sewing machine. The NEEDLE THREADER on both machines is not easy to use, and the illustration is so small, I could not follow it. Therefore, I manually thread the needle with great difficulty.

Nice little machine.
Machine sews good but I have a problem with the needle unthreading. I thread the top and bobbin thread and it’ll sew for awhile and then it’s unthreaded. It’s easy to rethread with the automatic threader but it is annoying. I use the machine mostly for making teddy bears and it suits my purpose very well.
