Horrible. Don’t waste your money here.

Horrible. Do not waste your money. I got this on sale about a year ago and it suddenly stopped working. It doesn’t even turn on (stopped working less than a month after my warranty expired). I’ve tried contacting Brother but have been told I would have to just have it repaired and pay for it. Yet, the closest repair shop is over 1 hour away with limited time open.

Total Satisfaction

New to sewing and started on an antique Singer. I purchased this machine out of frustration and have never looked back. This machine has so many great features that it has made sewing fun. I like the layout, the ease of operation, and the simple, easy to follow guides. It comes with a generous "get started" assortment of feet and other basic supplies. I have recommended this model to others who have purchased it as well. Buy one, you wont be sorry.

I’ve had this for a year and been very happy with it. I’ve used it with knits, for quilting and it’s never let me down. The feet that come with it have also been a lifesaver

Love the threading ease and auto bobbin take up.

I like an awful lot more than that but I was surprised how many people say they have issues with both. The machine does the hard part of threading, you just pull the small loop it pokes through the rest of the way. The bobbin, you load it, remembering to put it through the tension 'arm' you don't put it in the cutter section. Throw a bit of scrap under your foot and it feeds the bobbin thread through. Constructive Criticism

I'm happy with the features this machine offers but I have two suggestions for improvement. There's a little dip in front of the clear bobbin cover that gives the cover space to slide out, but if you are sewing over a seam that's on the underside (a seam that opens towards the back of the machine), it causes the seam allowance to flip direction, as it gets caught on the edge of the dip, and for quilting this is a real nuisance. I have tried and tried to adjust the tension, i have gone over and over the instructions. As far as i can tell, there is no adjustment on the bobbin, they keep referring me back to correctly threading the bobbin. I am not a newbie at this, my last bernina machine ive had for 25 years. Tomorrow is a new day .

Solid machine needle threading tough

This machine is exactly what I needed to pick up my sewing hobby again and offers very convenient options. I will say the needle threading is not easy and some threads are difficult to to use. The machine I wanted was out of stock everywhere so I went with this model. I would repurchase for the price

A good machine with a few drawbacks

All in all a nice machine. Lacks a few features. The case should actually attach and there should be built in storage for the accessories that actually holds them.

I was overdue for a new machine. My husband went online and found this one. I am in LOVE with it! It runs smooth, easy to use, and sooo many stitches. I still haven't learned everything it can do!

Works great for this beginner sewist

Works great and comes with lots of feet. I’m just starting my sewing journey and having something so easy to use is wonderful. I also love all the beginner videos that are linked. There are a bunch of short videos showing many functions and that is helpful for visual learners.
