Great Lawn Sweeper once it's assembled

The assembly instructions are terrible. They amounted to nothing more than a parts diagram. I ended up finding a YouTube video that was so much more helpful. Once assembled, the sweeper worked terrific. It picked up everything from grass to pinecones. A supplied cord makes dumping the bag pretty easy and the bag releases with 2 quick release pins.

This is an absolute piece of junk. The internals of the wheel are plastic rather than steel. Replacement parts are priced unreasonably.

Absolutely Marvelous Time Saver

This is my second 42" sweeper, the first purchased roughly 20 years ago at a local home center. I literally have worn the bottom off the hamper from repeated use. I purchased the original to eliminate orthopedic visits from blowing/raking leaves, which more than paid for the purchase. First, it is a pain in the gluteus maximus to put together. The instructions are not very clear so luckily I found a YouTube video. Still difficult to put together yourself. As for sweeping the lawn, it did okay. I was able to get most of leaves but realize you will need to lower the sweeper according to your yard, not the pictures of leaves and grass on the adjustment handle. Pretty good, but assembly instructions are bad

While the unit itself seems sturdy, the assembly process was a headache. The instructions were unclear and out of order. Parts like the wind cover weren’t mentioned until page 15, even though you’d need to install it much earlier. Either the manual is poorly written or I was missing steps/parts. Gets the Job Done

It took me a day and a half to put this together. Instructions were clear and parts were organized but it still took forever with so many pieces. One thing I like about this product is how it has level adjustments for leaf depth and the brush system collects them fairly quickly from the yard. One thing I don’t like is the elastic band that connects the hamper to the front part, it slides down and gets stuck on a bolt (both sides) after dumping the leaves with the rope pull. Only for the manicured property.

Hoping to find a tool to reduce the need for a rake. This is not it. Will not sweep a drive or sidewalk as it will not go low enough. Difficult to empty, heavy and dumps all over itself. No lift capability so must be dumped on a smooth surface then leaves have to be moved by another method to compost area. Sits too close to tractor to be able to back up which adds to the dumping difficulty. Height adjustment difficult. Put together myself (not difficult, good directions) so cannot return.

Saves bending over to rake or pickup leaves

Works well - took a little bit to adjust properly for my lawn - but now works well. Fills up pretty quickly so need to empty often. Assembly was pretty simple - but when working with the catcher part, it would have been easier during the day and letting the sun warm the material up so it flexes a bit easier.

Assembly is not for beginners

Came with a few dents and I selected for it to be assembled but it wasn’t…. It does the job efficiently as it should

Gave it a 4 only because website said it came assembled but it was not. Did arrive 3 days early.

The sweeper works ok

It works OK, just not as good as I expected. Was not happy with Lowes assembly as there were loose parts and the frame brush housing was bent in two places. Doesn't affect the function, just dont like to buy an expensive item that is bent.

I just bought my second sweeper as the first one is worn and needs a few parts thatat the time were not available. When I saw a new one on sale and added up the parts I needed it was a better deal for me to buy a new one. I love the thing it picks up all the gumballs in the spring and leaves in the fall. I have many trees so my leaf removal lasts a few months.I had the old one 10 years and it never broke down. Buy one as they just work!

2nd one

First one lasted over 10 years of hard use. The new one is great with some nice improvements. Easy to assemble.
