Low quality, the cartridge runs empty quickly mid soldering and then takes for ever to heat

Terrible product

I bought this a few months ago and it doesn't refill properly so the flame doesn't last long at all. I've been using bernzomatic butane and it sprays everywhere when I try to refill. I have torches that cost half the price that are twice as good as this. Cool concept but terribly executed. I think they know it's terrible as well which is why they don't sell replacement tips.

It is impossible to fill

The Bernzomatic that I have owned for over 15 years finally died. That was a GREAT soldering iron, so I purchased this Bernzomatic soldering iron. It is not well made, cheap shaky plastic, but the worst part is it will not fill with butane.It just spits and blows back as if it is full. I tried 3 different cans of Bernzomatic butane, all of which fueled my old iron just fine, but this iron wouldn't fill properly. I just read other reviews on the internet, and many people are experiencing this iss...

Absolutely the worst.

Never worked even one time. Butane flowed right out the bottom. It's potentially dangerous product. It very well could explode in your hand.. the picture is the only way that thing could produce fire. It's the bottom fill valve unfilling rapidly. Be careful fo not buy or give to kids as s present. EVER.

Nice not keeping a cord out of the way.

Used it for automotive wiring job and had favorable results. A little slow heating the soldering tips, but flame is decent heat up time

Just what I ordered.

Not too impressed

I've used this product about 10 times. Now the ignition will not start the torch. But you have to wait for 30 seconds breathing in raw butane to see if it lit or not.

has been very helpful in several uses. easy refill and works well on soldering and shrinking tape. also used it to weld p;astic

Flawless

I love mine. I’m on my second one and I do recommend them to everyone. They are tricky to get fueled but use burnzomatic fuel. I’m searching for replacement tips currently
