Turn off top element

When baking, the top element burns food. I would expect that element to be off or not cranked during bake mode. Frustrating.

Performs as promised. Love it!!

I love this 8 Slice x-wide Convection toaster oven! This is the second one in 9 years! We have an older home with a big wall oven that we don't have to use now!! All casseroles fit in this countertop oven, and I bake regularly. Love it!

Great product while it lasted.

I have had this oven for about 8 years and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, the toaster/bottom element recently stopped working. Now I just have a broiler. Obviously it's well past warranty, but still disappointing.

Quickly Toasts with the Exact Results You Want

We got this a couple weeks ago and so far are very happy with it. It is the first toaster I've found in years that shows me where to set the timer to get exactly the result I want. There are little toast symbols showing how dark/light it will be. It toasts very fast. Our old one, we had to wait around and keep checking back and if you got distracted, it was burnt. This one is so quick, there is no wait and you can set it so well that you know the results will be what you want.

Excellent Product

This product exceeds my expectations and I am very satisfied with this product. It has just the right amount of basic features for my needs. It is also lightweight and compact which makes it perfect for storage in a kitchen cabinet.

Had the Toaster Oven for about a month and already it is not working properly. Heating elements go off and on, or do not work at all. Have trouble shooted the problem to no avail. Stay away

Just What I Was Looking For

Like the size. Easy to use. Is sturdy. Knobs aren't made of plastic which is a plus. Good to have a baking tray that comes with the package.. Good directions. My last toaster oven was GE and lasted over 15 years. Hope this matches its durability

Excellent large toaster oven

This is my second oven. I’ve had the last one over six years and it still works fine. Decided to get a new one and keep the old one as a backup. I haven’t used my stove in years. I highly recommend these ovens.

EVERYTHING works just as it should!

This is an awesome toaster oven...my last one lasted 15yrs! I am so happy with it.

Does the job at a good price

I've been using for a month now and am happy with the wide size and how it cooks. I wish there was a second shelf but all in all I am happy and would recommend this model. I need to remember to hold the door, otherwise the door slams shut or when you open it, falls down to the counter.

Nice small size

It works, but it is incredibly (dangerously?) hot! on the outside. It does not have the "pull out the tray" feature that my other B and D does and I was hoping you would go back to your "set the toast setting once and after that just push the lever" feature. Very attractive and works great!

This is my 3rd Black & Decker toaster oven. This larger oven is wonderful and I am very pleased with the convection aspect and ability to accomodate 9x13 pans. I use my toaster oven very often and Black and Decker has always been very reliable.

Trying this out...

I finally got this out of the box & looking forward to trying it ouy. Tried to enter it on the Black & Decker warranty page 0- and wouldn't let me enter the correct model number on the box - SHOULD BE T01785SGC. Why wasn't I allowed to enter the actual model number?????

Loved the color, fits my counter, Easy to use.

Just bought this a few days ago...am pleased with its looks, and at 80 my reason for the purchase was to use it in place of my Stove's Oven & my old toaster. Perfect to reheat items,make grilled sandwiches. I used the toaster fo my eggo waffles, grilled my version of an Egg McMuffin, used the Bake knob to make a Peach Crumb Pie....all turned out great. Durability

It was about time I got a new toaster oven because the old one was almost 20 years old it still worked but it was pretty beat. So now I got a brand new Black & Decker toaster oven that will Outlast me.

Nice large size

This toaster is fine but I find the notch on the knobs hard to read. There should be some sort of a color like black or red so you can read it better. Also the knobs are slick so they are hard to turn especially when trying to turn them counterclockwise when selecting your toast color and time since you have to turn the knob beyond a certain point then select your proper setting. The grease trapping tray is not wide enough to accommodate the inside dimensions of the oven to trap all the greas...

OK after only 2 days of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Control knobs very tight. No. 2 Knob (timer) would not turn to "Stay ON" so I called 1-800 and agent said might have to "force" the knob I used a helper(gripper pad) and got it to turn on. Agent advised knobs should loosen over time??

Received it dented, but good customer service

I used three stars because I received it dented although the outer box was not damage, which it means to me that it was damaged before it was placed in the box. I contacted the company and they were very gracious to send a new one to me, I must say that the customer service was very good. But, I do not wish to go throught the trouble of cutting the plug wire, taking pictures and email them. I shouldn't have to do all this if they would inspect the items for any dents before packing. Air fry
