I should have listened to the other reviews. The batteries flash red and do not charge. Very unhappy with this purchase and hope I can find another bundle.

Batteries dead on arrival

Decent little bundle of hand tools for occasional home use, though probably not suitable for heavy use. The real issue is that both batteries included with the set are completely dead and not chargeable. These are $50-$60 each from Black and Decker’s website. DO NOT BUY - you’re better off spending money on a higher end product that is more likely to work.

Defective batteries

I ordered the set wanting to do some house work and took days off to do that but I should've read the other reviews, warning of the dead/defective batteries. Don't expect on using these tools right away.

I should've read the other reviews prior to buying this set. Just like the others my batteries were defective and do not charge. Don't expect to use this set of tools the first day you get them.

Defective Battery & or Charger

Bought this set in early March to have on hand for some DIY projects come spring. When I went to use the drills I could not get them to charge. And since this is same batteries (2) for all the products in the set I was unable to use any of the tools. Called the store I bought them from and was told I was 3 days past the 90 return policy and they could not/would not give me a refund or exchange. So I'm stuck with a set of tools I cannot use. DO NOT BUY

Don't buy this if you expect to receive to use these, out of the box. The batteries are DEAD, and Black & Decker (after the run around) does not warranty the batteries. They just say return it. Got stuck with the twice!!! They're all from 2021 ... and the batteries are all dead

Failed at opening

neither of the batteries worked Lowe's said it's easier through black and Decker. Black and Decker said take it back to Lowe's. I'm fed up.

Third try, still getting 4-year old dead batteries

When the combo kit went on sale for $129, it seemed like a bargain, especially considering two batteries, alone, are close to $100. First set arrived, the batteries were dead (would not accept a charge...rapid blinking red light). Just to confirm, I tried the batteries on another Black-and-Decker charger I have (same result) and tried charging another B&D battery I have on the new charger that came...the charger worked fine. It's the batteries. They're marked as being from 2021. I get why...

Inoperable Batteries

Unpacked right after purchase and went to charge the batteries and they would not take a charge. Second set that this happened to.Black and Decker customer service is a joke. I’d suggest staying away from Black and Decker. Lowe’s was great to deal with!
