Nahhhh

Have tried on rugs, carpet, vinyl flooring...I have a large dog and several cats, why even advertise as a pet vacuum? Attachments may work okay but the straight up function of the vacuum is balls. Not worth the money and have been highly unsatisfied with this purchase. Try pushing this vacuum under any settings 1-4 on regular carpet/longer fabric rugs and you legit won't have to go to the gym since that'll be your workout.

Great for pet hair and dust bunnies!

I bought this machine about 6mths ago and have not been disappointed. It really picks up dust, dirt and beagle hair very well. It's lightweight and the swivel makes it really easy to get to those hard to get to places. From hardwoods to areas rugs - it's really easy. I have some physical limitations, but I can still use my cane in the other hand while vacuuming. The retractable cord is also pretty handy but remember to hold the cord to slow it down as it reals in. One negative thing would be it'...

I love my new Bissel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is awesome. It is lightweight and powerful. The swivel head makes it so easy to get underneath furniture and into nooks and crannies. I vacuumed my living room and hallway and got so much stuff up that I was shocked it pulled up dirt, dust, hair, and Debris of all kinds.

Love My new Bissell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still learning how to use all the great attachments. The only thing I wish was different is there is no place to attach the cord when running the vacuum it does get in the way. But I still love my Bissell vacuum.

Keep an eye on the extension cord for fraying.

My extension cord is being rubbed down to the metal which I believe the cord is rubbing against something internal while winding. The vacuum itself only lasted 2 years before it stopped working. Additionally, if you have a service plan DO NOT waste your time by going to Lowes because they will just direct you to a customer service phone number.

LASTS FOR UNDER A YEAR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased 2 of these in the past two years. Each time they begin to fails with the canister cracking. If you order a new cannister, it's not long bfore the vacuum itself breaks into at the swivel neck just above the base, at the bottom of the upright piece. this is the second time that both of the sweepers I have owne have had BOTH of these problems. Time to move on to another manufacturer. I can't afford a new sweeper every year!

Life is more Livable with my Bissell

I find that my Bissell picks up not only Lily's hair, but a ton of dander- did i mention that I'm allergic to dog dander? My Bissell filter and non-disposable bag is easy to empty and clean-and doesn't break the bank. I have three-one for each floor.Life is more livable with my Bissell.

Great Product & Easy Setup

I would buy this again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I had a Bissel clean pet previously for about 7 years, and I thought it was great! so when that died, I decided to go back to Bissel. I ended up choosing the 2256 CleanView and I love it! it was only a week of no vacuum and me getting my new one. I was a little disgusted at how full my new vacuum was! It is much quieter than previous models and I like that I don't have to worry about wrapping a cord around it. I do wish that I could turn off...
