Loved it until...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this vacuum for about an year and a half. It started to decline on battery life. Until it just gave up. We can charge it for hours and it'll run for about 15 seconds. I decided I would just look into a replacement battery. There's no replacement battery available. I was disappointed that this vacuum is basically trash now all because they don't offer replacements

Good design

I have owned this vac for a few years and find it very handy for quick clean-ups. I also own a handheld "Pet Haireraser" that is a few years old. Again, good product but as time goes on the batteries in both have shorter and shorter run times. This is to be expected from chargeable batteries, but my issue with these items is that they don't have replaceable batteries. I really dislike having to throw away large amounts of plastic because I can't replace a battery. Please develop vacs with replac...

The Worst Filter Ever!!

I've owned a few cordless vacuums in the past and this one Hands Down has the worst filter to clean!! Wish I had spent the extra $$ on a Electrolux that I loved.

Great all around vacuum / mopper

Bought first one, model 2593 - don't see it listed anymore - 9 months battery went dead, error when charging - called Bissell they shipped me a new replacement machine immediately with no hassle. I'm thinking 2593 might have had issues - since now the model is 2596. Other than that, we bought the full kit, extra cleaners, extra rollers etc. WE have hardwood floors and large area carpets. 2 dogs, 2 cats, snowy/mud outside. Buy the extra roller with the red tines for carpet and cat hair, pulls it ...

Worst vacuum I have ever used

Just pushes stuff around and scratches my hardwood floor. Can barely suck up a grain of sand. Hair always getting wrapped around the roller. Stoped holding charge after about 8 months of use. Won't even bother getting a new battery for it- GOOD RIDDANCE

used to be good, but battery suddenly die after 13 months

I would not buy this product again

Its a great idea and concept and even the small tank didn't phase me and Bissel's engineering is so easy to use. Bad quality. Roller too soft and longer hair cuts in. Wheel and head came off so now stuck with just handheld

Worst vacuum ever

It does not pick up dog hair as recommended. The holding tank gets filled before I've even came close to finishing my area rug which is vacuumed quite frequently. It gets clogged everytime I use it (with pet hair) ots very frustrating and was a waste of my money.

I liked the vaccum, until it stopped holding a charge.

Product has been good, but I've had it under a year and the vaccum gets plugged in like it normally does and when I take it off charge it works for 3 seconds then blinks solid red. I tried the cradle and also plugging in directly. Is there a trick to this I can try or is it a write off..?

Works great and is easy to use...plus it is very attractive.

It works like a dream and is so easy to use. I can actually move gracefully while vacuuming.

Not great for longer haired pets

This is a great little vacuum and definitely a back saver. However I question the logistics of advertising it for pets. Although the beater brush picks up the hair relatively well on hard floors and carpets, the long hairs easily get caught up and wound around the wheels at each end of the brush and tend to overheat. It takes much time to remove them. It may be alright for short haired pets

Yes I would buy this product again!

I use it in our RV as my main V/C. We have pets and it is very good for pet hair!

Why is it no longer available?

I love the ease of using it. I have 4 dogs in my house, 24/7. I need it.

Only lasts for 8 months

I loved this vacuum but after 8 months the powerful suction would turn off. It was such a good price that I decided to purchase it again and the same thing happened. Now I'm going to try a Dyson V8 Animal, many friends have told me it is worth the extra price and not have to replace it constantly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second one of these vacuums. I have a pet duck and use this vacuum daily, sometimes two or three times during the day. It has great suction power and picks up everything I need it to. The hand held part is great for reaching in tight corners.

Recommend for anyone with pet hair

I did buy this product a second time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second one I've purchased as they have a tendency to snap if you push to hard. With dog hair which this machine is great for picking up but on rugs you need to sometimes push hard which will snap the machine
