Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a labradoodle and his coat is just too thick for this machine to do anything helpful within less time than actually giving him a bath. I wasn't impressed with the leave in shampoo and he didn't seem any cleaner after using the machine. Disappointing!

Not for every type of dog hair
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very disappointed in this product. I have 2 giant schnoodles, and was hoping this would save bath time after playing at the park -- with no luck. The product didn't do anything for my male who has more poodle like hair, and did minimal for the girl who has more schnauzer like hair. I will be looking into the return policy, as I only used it once and don't intend on using it again.

My dog, Cole, hates getting a bath because he doesn't like a lot of water on him all at once. With the Bissell Bark Bath he gets just the right amount of water so bathing is a lot easier. It's easy to use and clean up as minimal. We'll be using this bark bath for a long time. Thanks Bissell

Didn't work as hoped.
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes, unfortunately the Barkbath did not work for us. There wasn't enough pressure to get through the hair, nor enough suction. I do have dogs with long thick hair so maybe it will work better for less coated dogs.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fact that it is fairly easy to bath my dog. Priming produced more water than I thought would come out of the hose, but overall I like the BarkBath for the easy of use.

Base unit leaks
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was to bathe an older dog that is hard to give a bath too. I love the versatility of this unit and the lightweight. However, I bathed my dog once and the base unit started leaking all over. I contacted Bissell for a replacement.

Good product but if your pet gets really muddy, not great
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this pet bath but I have had a difficult time getting it to clean all the way down to the skin. When they're really dirty, it doesn't get down to their skin to clean. They run in the woods early in the morning and get muddy....was hoping this would allow me to clean them more easily.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I gave the wash a first trial with my pugs. It definitely gets the job done and more. My fawn pugs had loose hair and with the no wash formula, it deep cleans their coats with no mess. My other pugs and frenchie were a bit nervous but its to be expected. Gold star for the bissell
