No clumping, bad odors, or urine-like ammonia disappointed

A “MUDDY” MESS!

I have purchased your cat litter for more than six (6) years. I have always been satisfied until I purchased this Double Duty product. When I scoop the box out, which I do daily I have found that the litter has gone to mud wherever the cats have urinated. It is not easy to use because I have to clean this “mud” out as well as scrub the litter box where this mud has left residue on the litter box. I am extremely dissatisfied with this product! Have you changed the product?

Formula Change, Not Happy With It.

Double Duty dosen't Clump Anymore. Been using for years now. However, the last 2 boxes I bought have been absolutely horrible. The litter does not clump at all but rather creates a large sludge or breaks apart. It glues itself to the bottom of the litter box. The old color went from light grey to new box of dark grey, obviously a formula change or bad batch, bad mistake on Arm & Hammer if formula change. I have switch to another brand until you decide to change your formula back to what it was...

This is the worst litter I've ever used it is so heavy to scoop it doesn't last that long, and it doesn't hard clump till it sits in there for 24 hours if you do it before it's a gooey mess, I don't know how it gets good reviews they must put different stuff and different boxes but I'm never going to buy it again.

Horrible odor

i bought this to try something different and sorry i did. The scent of the litter is terrible and when it mixes with the urine and feces it is horrible. Does a terrible job of covering up the smell. My home has a definite odor in it now that people notice and they never said anything before when i used tidy cats. Would never recommend this to anyone. People giving good reviews must be paid. The only good thing is it clumps well but the smell gives me a headache.

Double Duty Has Become Horrible

Been using for years now. However, the last 2 boxes I bought have been absolutely horrible. The litter does not clump cat all but rather creates a large sludge that seems to glue itself to the bottom of the litter box. It is disgusting to clean and necessitates a huge quantity of the litter to be scraped out each day. This also results in using up the litter at twice the normal rate.

Hard clumps and great scent.

Fix your manufacturing issue!

I’ve been buying this litter for 3 years now. I’ve always been happy with it until about a year ago when I bought a 40lb box that ended up being a very different litter than I was used to. It was Dark colored and had no odor control. Since then, almost every other time that I buy it, it’s not the right litter or quality that I’m used to. Something is going on during manufacturing of this product and I will no longer be buying it.

Already clumpy

I emptied into litter box and clumps fell out. I couldn't believe it. I would have given 0stars if it had been possible.

No clumps at all

It didn't clump at all. I just cleaned the litter and had to throw away 40lbs of litter cus all of it was soaked from urine. None of it had clumped up. It was all soggy and wet. And the smell was extremely stringent! So much for urine control or neutralizer.

Excellent litter.

Switched to Double Duty and it solved all my clumping/shoveling issues. This is the one I use now.

Terrible Cat Litter

This is my first time purchasing a Arm and Hammer Cat litter and it's definitely a disappointing purchase. Litter is everywhere, does not have great odor control as advertised. I pick up litter and the next day, the bathroom still stinks. Does not clump urine well and does not control odor. When cleaning the litter, my nose is literally burning on fire from the ammonia.

The Right Litter for our Cats

I love Arm & Hammer products in general and this Double Duty Clumping litter just do the job perfectly for our home that has multiple cats. The clumping effect makes it easy to scoop. The odor control makes our home odor free even with multiple cats.

Good price for good quantity & quality

We have 3 cats & 3 big litter boxes (about to be 4 boxes) and the 40 pound box fills all 3 and if you properly maintain your litter boxes on a daily basis, it will last a month or more!!! Great product for multiple kitties

I’ve purchased this many times. It works very well, especially with multiple male cats. It does not have as much clumping “power” as I’d like. BUT it does neutralize the odors very well. Would give 5 star if it clumped better.
