Water Intrusion
Would Not RecommendI have purchased this twice in past couple of years. First one failed when the thermometer came loose inside the casing. The second one had water intrusion and became so foggy that I was unable to read the temperature. I had one of these for years before it failed. I suspect a different manufacturer started building the faulty ones. I just ordered another thermometer from another source.
No temperature
Would Not Recommendbought this thermometer, to replace our old one. Put it in the pool and 2 hours later is was still registering over 100 degrees. Realized it was not functioning! Looked for a film on the item, that reflected 100 degrees, and needed to be removed prior to use; nothing there!

Stays at top of water doesn't get accurate pool temp because temperature of top of water and air are warmer than water just below.

Defective rhermometer
Would Not RecommendOriginal thermometer did not register above 86 degrees. A second thermometer registered 90 degrees. Had to go to the store to get an exchange. So far the exchange thermometer is still working.
