Did not order a bidet

If you’re sitting on the toilet and reach back to flush, it spits up water on your butt. Extremely annoying. You have to wipe and flush again. Can this be stopped?

Truth Be Told

I purchased this toilet this year based on reviews. Unfortunately the toilet would not flush a feather. I sent in a video of the flush mechanism and was told it was defective. Being I could not return it, they sent me a replacement, the same type from the manufacturer; same result. Not a happy customer, had to reinstall the older toilet. Damaged Toilet Delivered

It was delivered damage and I've been trying to get a hold of someone that can help me. But, corporate told me it needs to be the store that delivered it and they'll call within 24 hours. That timeframe has passed and now i've tried calling and have sat on hold for about 30 minutes, 10 minutes another time before hanging up.

Cadet 3

I would have liked the toilet to have come with new closet bolts to install toilet to floor flange, and a new wax ring. Other AS toilets I have purchased come with a full installation kit. Why not this one? The toilet was easy to install other than having to purchase a new wax ring with bolt kit to install toilet to floor flange. Smaller Than I Expected

Very nice looking toilet although I was surprised that it seems smaller than normal toilets and wish I had ordered a regular one. the toilet seat appears small and cheap. The one piece construction is attractive. I ordered it in Linen and I like that color very much. It functions well.

Not a good flusher

We were looking for a better flushing toilet and this was not it.

Function and Style!

To begin with, the plumber recommended American Standard. Who knew there would be so many AS toilets to choose from! I knew that, along with good function, I wanted a 1 piece, maybe skirted, slow close lid, and right/chair height. I chose the Compact Cadet 3 because it is Compact (slightly smaller measurements), 1 piece, 4.8L Single Flush, and white. I'm very happy with my choice; it functions/flushes well, is easy to clean, and is aesthetically nice in the space.

Disappointed

Bought two toilets for home. One is fine. The other does not keep water level which is about 1/4-1/2 lower than other toilet. Water level is way too low. Plumber looked at it. Said n issue with toilet. Have had toilet over year. Just thought I had to live with it, but it is irritating enough that I finally did review.

Tank lid didn't fit

Installed this toilet with no problems as it's not the 1st time I have done this. I'm not really happy with it's flush, doesn't feel like a full flush. The worst of it was that the tank lid didn't fit. I had to grill d off about a ¼" off of the back lip for it to finally sit the way it's supposed to. Luckily, I have the tools to make that happen. When you buy something new you expect the parts to fit. American Standard.....do better.

Disappointed

The toilet did not fit. I had paid for installation, so the installer returned the toilet to the Lowe's store where he bought it. That was on a Monday and I am still waiting for a credit back and it is Wednesday afternoon. Calling the help number was completely useless. I will have to go into the store on Friday to insure I am given credit for both the toilet and the installation, which never happened.

Beware

Toilet came open without any parts or literature, returning. First toilet ordered 3/25/24, supposed to be delivered 4/3/24, on 4/8/24 I called and was informed toilet was returned because it was broken. Ordered same toilet again 4/8/24, picked up 4/19/24, toilet was opened and picked clean. Not happy

Nice Toilet

This toilet looks nice and works very well. I would have given it 5 stars but it was supposed to come with a wax ring but did not and there were no bolts to mount it to the floor (reused previous ones). Also the toilet seat - although functional - is not very sturdy. But overall very satisfied with it.

Good purchase.

I am pleased with this toilet for 3 years and purchased a second one for my guest bathroom.

Incomplete hardware, delayed installation

Toilet came without appropriate hardware — caps to cover screws. Installation was 24 hours after appointment time
