Seems to work as it should. From reading other reviews might be best to have shelter for light section.

IN THE DARK

We have purchased 4 of these and have had a similar problem with all 4. When first installed they all worked as expected. After some time in use, ranging from about a year to about a month, they all stopped working reliably. All appeared to function properly in TEST mode, but were inconsistent when set for actual use.

Don't Waste Your Money

If Lowes ever gets this in stock again, look for something else. This light works pretty well in the Summer, when the days are long. But not so well in Fall, Winter, Spring. 0 stars is what I give this light. I have 2 of them and the only way they work is if you turn the switch off then turn it back on all the time. Ilhave the solar panels in the sun for 7hrs a day and it still doesn’t work.

Not worth the purchase

I think it is all solar powered led motion detectors. Still trying to find one that consistently works but have not yet. Worked for 48 hours after fully charged and quickly became essentially useless after that.

TRASH! DON’T BUY!!!

5 days of charging turned it on battery low and gone already. THE TRUTH IS THAT ONCE CHARGED YOU HAVE TO TURN IT ON AT NIGHT AND THEN TURN IT OFF DURING THE DAYLIGHT TIME.

1st one had to turn it off then back on to get it to work each night. 2nd one worked great for 3 days then had to turn it off then back on each night. Im now trying a different companies.

Absolute junk.

This form literally forced me to give this thing a star. We are on our second one of these lights; not because it works so well either. The first one we got worked for about 2 weeks then altogether stopped working at all. Thinking it had to be a faulty item we returned it for the same model. This second one worked for the first day, then didnt work for a couple of weeks, and now works maybe once or twice a week. I purchased this light to illuminate my driveway because I leave for work around 3:45 a.m. each morning. When it works, it is fantastic but it’s always a toss up whether or not it will come on. The solar panel receives direct sunlight for many hours each day and it still works sporadically. I would not recommend purchasing this light if it’s in a place where you want light on a regular basis.

Excellent lighting solar device.

Provides enough light at night I can see my whole backyard. The light covers a little more than the 180 degrees angle. The price is a bargain.
