The Adirondack chairs are generally described as comfortable, sturdy, and offering good value. Many customers praise the chairs as suitable for outdoor use, noting they are lightweight and have wide armrests. Cheap seats.
Would Not RecommendCheap seats. We thought we bought these before, but not the same quality. We had our old chairs for three years. These new ones are already falling apart after one month. Also, I bought them for $24 a chair in line. When I picked them up they had stickers in them for $17.95. They would refund the difference at the counter.

Lovely!!
Would RecommendIt is sturdy and very comfortable. When sitting in the chair you are slightly reclined. The chair is really quite low to the ground. I only say this as a negative because I have a bad knee. Getting down is easy. Staying in them is easy too. No annoying bar under your legs. I just wouldn't put my grandma on them. It might be an act of congress to get her up and out of it.

Adams chairs are dangerous
Would Not RecommendBought four of these chairs less than 8 months ago. I have 4 patios and a large roof deck. I put these chairs on a deck I never use and never even sat in them one time. i noticed they were getting holes in them. They are as brittle as eggshells. I can push my finger right through the holes in the chairs. If someone sat in one there is no question it would just collapse. Stickers on chair say 1 year warranty. Took them back to Lowes and was told that was manufacturer's warranty. Lowes is 90 days ...

Dangerous
Would Not RecommendI bought 4 of these chairs 3 years ago and all have since broken. No one over 200 lbs has ever sat in these chairs. 3 of them broke at the legs or the arm rests. 1 of them had the entire back break off and cut up the person's back. They were comfortable while they lasted, but 3 years is unacceptable for a chair that can't be recycled. Unfortunately, there is no one who will recycle these so they go into the landfill. I bought Trex & Highwood to replace them.

Cheap
I bought 2 of these chairs and kept them on the porch, out of the weather, and they have both cracked, one injuring someone who had just sat down. Don't recommend. Spend the extra money for quality chairs.

broken
Would Not RecommendI've had these chairs for 4 months; today my 80 y/o mother sat in one and it collapsed into pieces under her.

Comfortable but may need a head pillow
Would RecommendVery comfortable chair! However, resting my head against the chair back, positioned my head a little too far back for conversation. It may cause neck strain, so perhaps a small head/neck pillow to push your head forward a little may be necessary. But, if you're sitting in this chair on your front deck, in the shade with a nice cross breeze waiting for an HVAC technician to show up, it's purrrfect for snoozing, not that this is exactly what happened or anything...
