Solved the pressure issue, but leaks at top!
I suggest that before shipment of this tank, APEC makes sure to include a washer/gasket for the water outlet fitting at the top of the tank. Once I received this tank, disconnected the old/original tank and reconnected the white plastic valve fitting to the threaded nipple at the top of the new tank, water immediately began leaking down the sides of the tank! I carefully tried tightening the fitting (not wanting to strip the plastic threads) and this helped minimize the leakage; but not stop it ...

First tank lasted 10 years
The first 4 gallon tank that I purchased with my under sink water system from Apex has lasted a decade. I noticed that it was losing pressure so I used my air compressor to add some air and so far it is still holding up, but I purchased a second tank so it would be ready to go when my first tank finally gives up the ghost.
