Near impossible to arm.

Looks like a clever idea but impossible to arm the darn thing. I ended up throwing it in the trash and do not recommend anyone else buy it.

Other traps cheaper.

Works Great!

This trap does an excellent job of catching mice. It's simple, humane, and not messy. I spent almost $20 on a Victor mouse trap that didn't trap a single mouse. Waste of money in my opinion. You're better off using the Amdro mouse trap and save yourself a few dollars. The only con is getting the rubber band in place. It's not easy. But after a few times, you will get the hang of it. They should create a video for it.

Best trap ever

Hands down the best mouse trap I've ever used. They're effective, easy to set and easy to move without triggering the trap. Go to your local farm store and buy castrating bands to replace the bands that come with the trap. They come 100 to a bag. They're the same thing.

100% reliable

Quick kill, no mess, 100% effective. We had a super wet winter, and now mice have invaded our home. I have over 30 confirmed kills with these traps, and not one missed opportunity. The design of the tube forces them to go in far enough, that when the trap goes off, you are guaranteed a crushing band over the chest and voila, dead mouse instantly. No blood, guts, and other messy side effects with this trap. Genius product. I would highly recommend this trap. The only downside, they don't sell rep...

Reliable, safe and easy to use, more humane, no mess

I've bought these traps a few different times over the years and can attest to their reliability for an assured quick kill verses other traps. I use Dove milk chocolate for bait. It works much better than cheese or peanut butter. Also use a 32" Grabber Reacher Picker Upper tool for no-touch carcass removal. The body is usually a few inches outside of the trap so no mess in or on the trap. I've tried many different types of traps over 30 years and this is my preferred trap for normal house mice. ...

need refill rings

I love this product but wish the o-rings were available. The unit(s) work fine so why should I have to buy a whole new box. I am sure I am not the only one that requests this. I tried to find your phone number to speak to someone but only have the contact form :(

Good product, needs "refill" rings!

Put under the sink where mice have been coming. Very effective. Easy to pick up "perpetrator" in the morning, always very close to the trap. (I use a plastic produce bag from the grocery store, inside out, then lock-tie it and throw out.) BUT, you need to sell ring "refills" should I run out!

Nice improvement on the mouse trap.

Very efficient product, clean and no mess. Like a previous reviewer, I would have given 5 stars but ran out of the elastic rings. The rings are not sold anywhere. When I called the Amdro Customer Service number as suggested by the respondent to that reviewer, I was told that no, the elastic rings are not available separately. I already bought a second trap just to get more rings, but will not do that again. Poor service response, took another star off.

This trap works well. Drawback is I cannot find extra rubber bands without purchasing a new trap which I don't need, therefore I will give 4 stars.

Only one reason for not giving five stars

This mouse trap works phenomenally! I had tried a few different types of traps last year and my peanut butter would disappear, but there were no mice. I bought this trap, and voila! Today, I heard a mouse in my basement ceiling. I set a trap early this evening and the problem is already resolved. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I can't find replacement bands at the stores where the traps are sold. I don't need ten traps laying around my house, I just need more bands!
