I don't wash oily ducks

Ajax detergent reminded me .. I need a workhorse in the sink, not a diva. I can feel the clean , even after 3 loads of dishes. I don't enjoy doing dishes, and soaking is minimal.

Changed for the worse

Either I got a bad bottle or you've changed your formula. It's now watery without the lemon scent I loved. Smells like chemicals and doesn't clean. Guess I have to switch brands after after being a faithful consumer for years.

Seems to have changed :(

I loved this product because it was less expensive than other brands but worked just as good. However, I just bought this again and it seems very watered down now and barely produces any suds anymore. I find I'm using 2 or 3 times as much and am very disappointed.

Terrible

Was taking over the dishes at my parents house and notice the terrible scent. My hands smelled terrible and so did the clean dishes. Read the ingredients in the back, and all those ingredients look pretty toxic to me. I recommend using gloves. Who knows what kind of chemicals are seeping into your skin, and could likely cause cancer? I just wouldn't trust this. Told my dad to get rid of this junk. I'm going to be looking for better cleaning ingredients.

Horrible new smell

Scent of the new formula is so off-putting. Very artificial. We used the old formula for years and will try to find something new now.

New, clear cap should be discontinued.

Product is good. Object to the new style, all clear, cap. it is an extremely poor design. New style is very hard to pull open, and equally hard to push down to close. I actually get pliers to pull up to open and hit it hard with my hand to close and protect my hand by covering the top with 3 folds of dish towel. previous cap was white with green pull-up top to open/close. The New Top is HORRIBLE!

I have been using Ajax Liquid Dish Soap for years. Recently, you changed the top that is IMPOSSIBLE to open. I thought that maybe it was a fluke and bought another bottle, but it's the same. It is a STRUGGLE, every time that I do dishes! I have to use a pair of pliers to get the top open. I have no choice but to switch to a different brand. Why "fix" things that aren't broken. Sad.

Bad change!

We used Ajax lemon dish soap for many years. However, they've changed the scent. Way too strong!!! The smell is overpowering and bad for my sensitive skin. Ajax, please go back to the old formula...or at least make a mild version once again as an option!

Watered down

Not the same quality it used to have. Does not bubble up the way it used to. Cleaning power is not as strong. I was disappointed with this quality. They used to have them more much higher quality to this product.

Strange chemical sweet smell remains after washing

I've used AJAX Lemon for quite a while now. The scent has changed from fresh lemon to artificial lemon. It seems to wash grease away sufficiently. However, the silverware has a sweet chemical smell after I wash and rinse them, even after a double rinsing. The smell is particularly strong on forks and a little less so on spoons and knives. I think this is due to some detergent residue which clings to the metal.

Cutting grease

I bought it last year and my cousin buys it all the time. I air fry bacon and left a lot of grease on the air fryer basket. Ajax soap got the grease off. The only problem I have experience is my skin on my fingers drying out.

The new, more narrow spout. Thumbs down.

I love the Super Degreaser. I use it on my husband's greasy/oily work clothes. BUT by changing the spout, making it smaller or more narrow... all you did was make it harder for me to open. I have arthritis (at 54yo) and its difficult to grasp the spout now. I had no trouble with the old spout.

smells edible and should be non toxic

this should be edible 😂ive always had something for ajax and their scents. smells very edible

Love the cleaning action, but can't open it

After changing the top tab, I cannot open it any more without using pliers. As a person who has arthritis (common in older people), I cannot grasp the new streamlined top to pull it up. Please go back to an ergonomically friendly closing tab or I may have to change brands as I can't leave it open with a grandson around.

Doesn't work anymore

Its hard to rinse and doesn't seem to cut the grease like the original Ajax dish cleaner. I don't see any suds? Not working for me.

Stinks

I have used Ajax lemon exclusively for many years & loved it. It cleaned my dishes & smelled great. However, several months ago I had to buy a new bottle. What a shock, I don't know how it cleans because I had to throw the bottle out because of the hideous smell. Why do companies who have a great product decide to change it? Obviously, I no longer buy this product. One star is too much, wish I could give it zero. What a shame.

Switching Brands

new formula, not as good as original, bad smell, can not get top off small bottle to refill. Need small bottle to sit on top of sink, not big bottle to sit up there. Switching brands.

Stinks, Literally!

Have been using the Ajax Ultra Lemon Dish Soap for many years and was unaware that it was changed to a new smell. It is so unpleasant to me that I am about to toss out the new 90oz bottle i bought. Went out of my way to get it as I like the old scent over all the other brands that are readily available today, but never expected them to have changed the scent for the worse.
