critical for big holes
Would RecommendI got some Bondo to fix a huge hole in my fender of my van. My thought was to use a wire mesh to be the backing. That was good for the shape, but the Bondo just dripped through the mesh. This cloth held it in place to make the repair possible.

Good value for Small Projects
Would RecommendBut the fiberglass matting for a project at home. Easy to work with. Highly recommend getting a plastic roller to work out air bubbles. But you will have to buy that online from aircraft Spruce or other fiberglass specialty outfit.

Nice medium weight cloth
Would RecommendPicked this stuff up several times over the years for small jobs. Works with epoxy or polyester resins. Cloth absolutely does the job, and honestly is about the ONLY fiberglass supplies you can get in DFW without ordering online. Cloth wets out easily.

Horsing Around With Fiberglass
Would RecommendUsed it to repair a life-sized fiberglass horse for my 4-H Club. His leg was broken off just below the knee and the seems split apart. Used patching compound first then wrapped the leg in the cloth and applied the resin over that. His leg is stronger now than when he was new. Also used it to reinforce other seams that were splitting and repaired a cracked ribcage. The cloth does fray very easily but is otherwise easy to work with.
