Black mulch
Would RecommendIt's that time of year again and I'm waiting on another delivery of mulch. After spreading last season to a depth of 3 to 4 inches I did not experience any weed issue in the landscape and surprisingly it's still black, one year later. Although some did decompose there is enough remaining with a little raking I would not need to add any this year, but I will.

Would Not Recommendwe have been using this much for years. It holds the color well. Every year is a mulch is a little different when it comes to moisture level but compared to other products this is what we’ve found to have the least moisture level which causes mold in the mulch when they are unopened.

Would RecommendWe buy ~120 bags of this per year. We buy it this way so that we are in control of when we lay it. Instead of having cubic yards dumped on our driveway. It’s good, but the color won’t last a year. You can buy a black dye from Lowe’s to keep the color tip top all year long!
