Don’t buy. Component failed in just over a year

Had this for a little over a year and then it won’t turn off. As soon as the door closes it starts. A microwave of this price point should last longer and the faulty sensor should be replaced free.

Love, love, love it... best microwave I have ever owned

Poor quality

This is the second one i had. The first one didn't last a year and they sent me a replacement. The second one just went out after lasting 2 1/2 years and it quit working like the first one. So much for quality! I'm done with GE!

Power level adjustments suck.

Why did this updated 2.0 cu.ft. model disable the simple power level change when oven is in countdown which the prior 2.0 model had? We loved the previous 2.0 model but had to get a smaller model because the new system is VERY inconvenient!

Worst Microwave I ever owned

Owned this unit for a little over 2 yrs using it primarily to warm up coffee and leftovers. Today it started making a loud noise sounding llike it was going burst into flames. Other brands last around 10yrs.

Good Quality

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an older version of this microwave for nearly a decade until it started to rust. I loved it! The features, the size, etc. Naturally, I hoped that this one would hold up for a few years. I purchased it in October 2024 and in November 2025 it just stopped working. I’m so disappointed and will probably just move on from GE.

Love it so much, we bought another

Great features, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this microwave! I had one almost just like it for over 20 yeas, and when I ordered this one, I put in the old model information, and it was the same..I hope this one last for 20 years, I will be 91 then!!

Stopped working

I am so disappointed. I've only had 2 years 4 months

Stopped working after 2-1/2 years.

Long before it stopped working, we started noticing that the heating using the beverage option only worked about half the time. Eventually, it stopped actually cooking using any option, even though it looked like it was working fine.

Great Feature

It is a solid product and recommend anyone planning to replace the table top microwave

Lasts about 2 years

This worked fine until just under two years and the door latch broke. Looking for parts but I'm sure it will be cheaper and easier to just replace it.

Worth the price we paid!

Absolutely worth the price we paid! The interior space allows for opens to do more than just small things. We like the option of being able to turn the beeping noise off, that is a huge plus. Overall, very please with the microwave.

Great Features and a Great Price

Looked at a lot of options before we bought this model. Had the largest turntable so there’s a lot more room for various dishes. Easy settings for cooking, including fast settings. Works great. Very even cooking. Noise level when running is good. (It’s very quiet when it isn’t running!) Dimensions are really good for the size of the interior. Powerful - wattage is accurate. Good quick cooking. Absolutely recommend this to my friends. A very happy customer.

Microwave stopped heating after 1 year

I purchased this item 6/9/2024 and it stopped heating 6/23/2025. 1 year warranty and now I had to purchase a new one---so disappointed

I love GE products and this doesn't disappoint. Large capacity with huge rotating bottom that fits any shape plate. Super easy to use.

Previously had a GE Microwave for 17 years before it gave out. I wanted to replace it with exactly the same and I did. Thanks.

Loving this new microwave

This powerful microwave is larger than my previous one, but it is worth the lost countertop space! Food cooks evenly and the reheat function just knows exactly how to cook what I put in! The quick minutes of 1 through 6 are excessive.
