Will it work to find studs in a wall of 3/4 inch pine boards?

Hello Benji. In deep scan mode it should work. However, if the pine boards are over existing drywall the thickness of the materials combined with the density of the pine could be a problem for the tool even in deep scan mode. If this is the case we suggest a stud sensor with metal scan mode like the L350. You can then use the metal scan mode to find the nails or screws hold the materials to the studs. Thank you.
