The answers are as follows: 1. I would not recommend this cord for a garage door opener as it is two wire and most garage doors require a 3 prong cord. The garage door also exceeds the amp rating on this cord. 2. You would need to contact your nearest Lowe's store regarding a pegboard delivery. Thank you.
