my old pump discharges into regular garden garden hose. Does this one?

All sump pumps manufactured have a 1 1/2" discharge. You can certainly purchase a garden hose male adapter that will screw into the discharge to reduce this down to fit a garden hose. We would certainly recommend that this would not be a permanent install as reducing this from the 1 1/2" to a 5/8" hose will create a lot of friction loss and will hamper the performance of any sump pump.
