Will this work on an exposed deck over living space with a plywood substrate in New England?


Hello, and thank you for your interest in Trex. Trex can not be installed onto a flat surface such as ply wood, or onto a water tight system. To install Trex over a flat surface you have to add in a sleeper system which is a substructure between the flat surface, and the Trex material. The sleeper system must be made of code approved structural material, spaced 16" on center, a minimum of 1.5" in height for drainage and airflow, level, and secure.
